A Twist in fate

Jaxxon POV

Life growing up has always been a test. As my father would say it. I have been training to take over pack duties as my father is ready to step down and enjoy his life together with my mother. My parents are still young & lucky for them, their fated mates. A strong powerful couple with a son, (me) and my brat sister Olivia who is currently 16. I have been training since I was 14 to learn of my Alpha duties.

At first, I wanted to pass on it because I just wanted to be a kid and enjoy life. I didn’t care for these duties. It only hit me hard when our pack was attacked by rogues, and as I was trying to protect and defend our pack, my grandmother was killed trying to protect Olivia.

She was a fierce & a powerful wolf, but I guess she met her match. When I saw my grandmother’s chest being opened and her heart ripped out her chest, I barreled into this rouge and ripped him to pieces. From limb to limb, to his ears, to his eyes, down to ripping his heart out. My grandmother helped raised me when my parents were always busy with duties.

I remember Grandfather appearing from the woods disheveled and in pain. The mate bond telling him his other half was gone. He held her in his arms, speaking to her and telling her how much he loves her and appreciates her. The pain in his voice broke me. We lost a total of 15 pack members that day, including grandmother. I was 16 years old and did not want to see another person in my pack die in the hands of a rogue. I vowed to be committed and fulfill my duties as an alpha when my father would be ready to hand it down.

I became stronger, bigger, and more leaner. I had no problems catching the attention of she-wolves. They come and they go. I have never made the intentions of making one my Luna. My heart has always been on my childhood crush, who happens to be my best friends twin sister. Amaly. I grew up with Prince David & Princess Amaly. David being the next in line for the Alpha King title. He’s going to be one hell of ruler when the time comes. As young men, we were the future Alpha’s that other packs already feared.

Royalty is what we’ll call them. They are the first set of twins from the Alpha King Raiz & Queen Luna Elizabeth. When I say set, the Alpha King has 3 sets of twins. Unspoken of, or he had super sperm of producing multiples. David and Amaly are fraternal twins. She really hates the titles and would constantly tell me to stop calling her princess like she was a spoiled brat. So I stopped and called her by her name. I was never really close to Amaly like Olivia is.

They are inseparable, two peas in a pod. Amaly is a lot stronger then Olivia because of the alpha blood in her. We were always told that they were the direct descendants of the mood goddess and that both David and Amaly might have some type of powers that are still yet to be awaken.

Amaly was one of kind. 5 foot 2 inches with beautiful dark brown hair. Not your average skinny girl, but a toned great figure with legs I would love to dive in.. She’s always in training class and has taught a few classes in sparring as well. What I would do to spare with her. Her and Olivia are still in training school that her father has built. With some his trusted allies contributing and having their children attend as well. She was the highlight of the school. Men flocked to her naturally but she really never gave anyone that much time of day.

Until one day, picking up Olivia from school catching a glimpse of Amaly walking with another male. The future Alpha Allen of the Red Moon Territory. The anger inside me seeing this alpha asshole walking with his hand on her.

“Who is he to her? And why is he holding her?” I asked Olivia with a stern toned. The annoyed look on Olivia when I asked her made me realize how jealous I sounded. “Why? Are you jealous or something?” Olivia answered.

“No, I just don’t see it”

“See what? Allen has been courting her. They have been dating for like 2 months. I think they are cute together. I’ve heard that when he does become Alpha, he wants to take Amaly as his chosen Luna.”

“That’s bullshit. There’s goddess given fated mates for a reason. Why go against who is appointed to you from the moon goddess.” The anger that built up in me seeing her with him. Amaly saw me, smiled and wave for me to turn my back and start my car, ignoring her existence. “Hurry and get in the car. LETS GO!!”

Amaly POV

Walking out the training locker rooms, Allen is already waiting for me surrounded by a bunch of groupies. Literally begging for his attention. He’s the future alpha of the Red Moon Pack. Not a huge pack but a decent pack. His pack has always been a good vibe every time I’ve been there. Even with Olivia. We’ve only been dating for 2 months.

Allen looks up at me and smiles “Hey Babe. You ready?”

I smile back and nodded. We’re outside and having Allen be so loving towards me is so new. The chivalry in this guy is amazing. Of course I’ve talked to other guys in the past but I’ve never took anyone seriously. I only had one major crush and I hate to admit it, but the one guy that has ever gave me butterflies and makes me nervous to the core is Jaxxon. Yes, the future Alpha of the Midnight Shadow Pack. And yes, my best friend Olivia’s older brother.

Don’t get me wrong. Allen is quite attractive. He’s tall, 6 foot 3 inches and built so perfectly well with a sharp jawline. He’s a very handsome man. But Jaxxon…. Much taller, more muscular, arms to die for. He could lift me. A*hem, I got carried away. But did I mention the tatttoos covered on Jaxxon. The bad boy rough image makes my insides weak.

Ok. Ok. Ok. Enough of Jaxxon as I’m not good enough for him. Allen carries my training bag for me and has his arms around my shoulders. Having this feeling someone’s looking at me. I look up to see Olivia smiling and waving, and Jaxxon with a disturbed look. Like did I make him angry. I smiled and waved to him but he just blew it off and got in the car. Ok whatever that was.
