Phoenix Vs Dragon Novels & Stories

Suddenly the ground began to open and as it did, houses began to collapse. "She's destroying it all," Silver yelled. "She can try." Phoenix discarded her sword and made a symbol with her hand. "Drakus!" A sharp wind later and a roar tore through the sky. Fire broke through lightning and a large white dragon appeared. It roared causing bricks to fall of buildings. "Useless!" Ashterah laughed. Just then the ground burst open releasing thousands of Daemons. Hungry blood seeking Daemons who began to run after running citizens. Phoenix rose in the air and mounted her Dragon. "Drakus!"

The one-on-one battle became two versus one. Had it been a solo challenge, Phoenix and Kamaitachi were definitely no match for Black Dragon. But by working together, Black Dragon was soon pushed back. Finally, Phoenix’s ferocious kick lashed at Black Dragon. Before he had time to react, Kamaitachi’s explosive punch had immediately come down on his head. Bang! There was a huge dull sound. Kamaitachi had exerted all of his strength into this punch, causing the force of a huge hammer to smash into Black Dragon’s chest.

In fact, the Vermilion Bird's fire was said to be even more powerful than the Phoenix's own fire. "This is nothing! Not yet, master!" RAAAARR! BOOMMM... The two fires collided with each other, neither the dragon's fire nor the Vermilion Bird's blue fire willing to back down. Those who were created with the power of fire will always fight to show that they are the best among the rest. BOOOOM. "The gap!"

I dress as properly as possible. Clyde disclosed that he knew Zenith was trying to manipulate him and he was just trying to act the way she wanted and wanted to see what she would do. “Dragons are not so weak, especially a blue Basilisk,” he had said proudly. I could feel it through our newly formed bond and it both overwhelmed and relieved me. I was not sure what to expect since I have heard stories of mates like Vampire and Werewolf, A seer and a werewolf but never a bond with a dragon, well not until I heard about Lativia. However, I think it is not very different from these bonds.

Between her and the lake stood a monster—a real-life monster from the worst nightmare ever. “A dragon. Real dragon.” was all she could mutter before the darkness that was creeping around her eyesight took her over, and she fell into oblivion. ≈ ≈ ≈ Henry knew that scaring his girl shitless was a mistake, but there was no other way to prove his point. So when he phased in front of her into his black dragon, he kind of expected her to faint. He did take a little more time than necessary for the phase, but when she started to fall to the ground, he turned back in the blink of an eye and was there in his human form to catch her before she hit the ground.

STORM. Phoenix fire was unlike any other flame. It did not feed on oxygen or fuel. It fed on emotions. More specifically, it fed on pain. And pain? Pain had teeth. Had a voice that knew your name. It could lock a person in place like rusted iron driven through bone. Stole air from their lungs. Pain convinced them they would never be whole again, that the shattered pieces of who they'd been could never be reassembled into anything worth saving.

I was insanely curious to learn fact from fiction. ‘Yes, they do have a counterpart. Phoenixes are extremely powerful. The light that they contain is pure. Much purer than Fae light. They were created to cleanse the darkness of the world and are actually very rare creatures. Therefore, they are hunted, sought after, and enslaved by sick bastards who steal the phoenix’s light for their own use. Often times, it’s used to create weapons,’ Reika told me with sadness evident in her voice.

I was the lowest-born black serpent in the Serpent Clan, yet the Dragon Court's most honored crown prince chose me as his bride. He gave up his betrothal to my sister, surrendered his place as heir, and walked away from the Dragon Court for me. I was moved beyond words and became his wife. But after I gave birth to only a black serpent, he flew into a rage. He crushed our baby beneath his foot, then killed me with a single strike of his sword. As I was dying, I saw hatred burning in his eyes. "If I'd known you were this useless, I should've married your sister!" Only then did I learn the truth. I was the woman of fate named in the Dragon Court's forbidden book, the one born with primord

I question, looking over to Phoenix while everyone stares at us in complete shock. “My magics, I was angwy. The madder I gets da hotter I burn, like the fire biwd… my name? I see things, and I feel things because I can touch the soul. My magics is evewything,” Phoenix explains staggering closer to me, so I pull her into my arms feeling her exhaustion bleeding into me. “Dagon wanted kill you before da war,” Phoenix’s exhausted voice comes out almost as whisper, and I nod. “One he just started, we’ll be ok though, I won’t let anything happen to you or your daddies,” I brush her hair out of her face, and she smiles gently.

There were trees that bordered the property all around us and kept the prying eyes of neighbouring land owners away from us. Every year my parents had to attend the Illinois Dragonkin Ball which consisted of seventeen year old teens eager to meet their bonded halves or to complete the ceremony in front of the Elders. According to my father Bazzoit had spoken to Typhon in the dragon realm and they had altered how the ceremonies worked.
