The gun Alan was holding fell to the floor. Alan was not to be outdone. He punched Laird in the stomach. They struggled against the side of the car. Laird slammed Alan against the car until the car shook. Again and again, they slammed each other's bodies into the side of the car. I could only scream in alarm when I saw Laird hitting Alan.
