He raised his hand and pointed toward the window. "Let's give this pair of doomed lovers on the run a little… push. It's up to them if they want to end up crippled or dead."

"Please stop this nonsense, Mr. Swanson. If I were to give her CPR now…" He paused and pointed at my chest that was covered in frost with a cruel finger. "The moment I press down on her chest for CPR, her sternum will shatter like ice."

I bit my lower lip, trying to suppress the howl that might escape if I didn’t hold back. "Clark! Where the hell are you, you bastard?!" Suddenly, Amy slammed the door open. Behind her, Chris followed her in. I screamed in shock and quickly grabbed my pants to cover myself. My dirty, wet hands hastily pulled my pants back up. "Oh, yeah, naughty boy!" Chris laughed and immediately pulled out his phone. "What the hell?!" Amy also screamed in shock before bursting into laughter.

Before I could even think about pressing decline, he snatched the phone from my hand. CRACK. The phone smashed against the floor with a sickening crunch. I gasped, my heart lurching as I watched the screen flicker and die, shattered beyond repair. But Blaze wasn’t done. His boot came down, pressing against the ruined device, and with slow, deliberate force— He crushed it. The finality of it—the sound, the sheer dominance in the way he destroyed it so effortlessly—sent a shiver down my spine. I couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe.

Jasmine put on an unbelievably pitiful expression as if she were the victim in all of this. Marcus, trembling with rage, stomped his foot. "You lunatic! I can’t believe I fell for your lies and wronged Emilia!" Jasmine sneered, her voice dripping with contempt. "That just shows how stupid you all are. He finished the sentence and I nodded. “I know of a girl. She met her crush years back at a club and fell in love with him instantly. She secretly followed him that night and saw him making out wildly with another girl. She ran away but, unknown to her, the man saw her. He saw the intense craving in her eyes. That girl is sitting in front of him now, and he can still see the craving. It’s still there and even more now.” I watched with shock as the words flowed seamlessly out of his mouth. When he said the last part, I almost choked on my own tongue.

"Please. You crushed on me for years. No way you flipped that fast. I know what this is—you're jealous I'm close with that scholarship girl. So you're using him to get back at me—" I didn't hear the rest. Because when I turned, Noah was at the door, face cold as ice. And my heart just dropped.

There's nothing left for me. CJ squeezed his eyes shut, and his body crumpled in on itself. "Why are you doing this? We've been through a lot to get to this point and faced hardships and conflicts together. What makes you think I want to let you go? All I want is for Kia to get help and…"

Both of them stop their kiss abruptly after hearing Alex's voice. Sebastian panics so much that he ends up colliding with the floor, hitting his butt with a loud thud. Killian busies himself in cleaning his now plump lips. Both of them look like deers caught in a headlight while Alex looks like the hunter, aiming his rifle at them. When their shock wears off, they realise Nick isn't here. Alex just takes pride in ruining their moment and being a Cockblocker.
