The Mafia King's Regret

The Mafia King's Regret

Allies cut ties with the Morettis or fled the city to avoid the rampaging wrath of the Marcello family. My men took back territories we’d lost, gained new ones. Gained tentative new allies, too, as many of Moretti’s alleged friends turned tail to protect their lives and assets. Still, one thing remained unresolved. I stood by the large window in my borrowed study, staring out at the sprawling grounds of the villa. My faded reflection in the glass traced the contours of a cold, grim face. Of a merciless, uncaring man. A man as dangerous and unyielding as my thoughts. Marco was gone, but Aurora was still lurking in the shadows, trying to regroup.

IN-BETWEEN THE LYCAN BROTHERS

IN-BETWEEN THE LYCAN BROTHERS

As the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a golden glow across the restless sea, Leo and I stood side by side on the deck of the pirate ship. The ship was a weathered beast, sturdy and seasoned by countless battles, its sails billowing with the wind that carried us further from the shore. The decision had been made: we would stay aboard for the night, too weary and too uncertain of the waters to risk traveling back to land immediately.

The Outcast Claimed by the King

The Outcast Claimed by the King

Reaching the river which ran through no man’s land offering us all water, I find a man known as Peter, a rogue around my age who was also forced into this situation when the pack he called home, was invaded and dismantled one night, he sat collecting water but looked at me shocked. “Woah El, I was under the impression you were dead, from where I’m standing, it seems as though you’re the very opposite.” He commented getting to his feet and watching as I walked over but the Alpha King beside me, didn’t take too kindly to another man looking me up and down and growled such a deadly growl in response.

The King’s Wrong Captive

The King’s Wrong Captive

He should’ve come for his princess himself. If Aria truly betrayed him—if she’d compromised his empire—he would’ve hunted her personally. Made an example of it. He wouldn’t outsource something this important. Unless… Unless killing her isn’t the goal. Unless flushing something out is. Unless I am. The realization settles heavy in my gut. Vincenzo Moretti doesn’t throw pieces off the board. He sacrifices them to reposition the king. I exhale slowly. Aria thinks she’s been outlawed. Maybe she has.

The Mad King's Mate

The Mad King's Mate

Even the birds have gone silent. The larger troll lean forward, its shadow swallowing Astria whole. “Mind your tongue, child,” it warns, voice reverberating deep into the ground. “The last to insult the mountain spirits was buried beneath them.” Sir Rowan moves closer, his men forming a nervous half-circle between the trolls and the princess. “My lords,” he begins carefully, “we meant no insult. We only seek passage—” “Enough!” Astria snaps. “Tell them to move, or I’ll have them turned to dust!”

The crown system: four kings bound to me

The crown system: four kings bound to me

The crimson warning continued flashing before my eyes long after the four Crown Kings disappeared from the Headmaster's office. Their footsteps had faded into silence, yet the pressure they left behind seemed to linger in the room. I stared at the system's newest command, unable to believe what I was seeing. [Hidden Mission Activated.] [Proceed to the Eastern Barrier.] [Reward: Memory Fragment.] [Penalty for Refusal: Crown Synchronization -5%.]

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

“They ain’t just pirates, I’m telling you. They’re all highly trained thieves … and their tricks can beat even the most skilled swordsman.” “Trained?” Tristan raised an eyebrow. “You’re implying they have someone as a master or lord or whatever.” “Aye, they have. Folks say they have Pirate Lords … and the Pirate King ruling above all.” Tristan’s hand went to check Draphiron’s core inside his pocket. If such thieves would come to attack the ship, he had to plan beforehand. But his trust in his sword skills overwhelmed his anxiety of losing the core. He probably could still fight even when he’s out of the country.

Claiming Back His Throne

Claiming Back His Throne

We'd rather die defending our land and our people's existence than surrender to them. We had breakfast in a relaxed and family atmosphere. The leaders promised to meet again soon, so we were confident they would discuss the best way to protect our land from witch attacks. Alicia hugged me tightly as we were about to part. She entered the car and headed home with her entourage from the Silent Crescent Pack. The representatives from the northern kingdom pack went back to their respective regions. But the envoys from the opposite country were going to the capital to return home via the airport in the human city not far from there.

The Quest Of The Sapphire Crown

The Quest Of The Sapphire Crown

With a heavy heart, he made the difficult decision to order his men to fall back. Aric's command echoed across the battlefield, a call to retreat that carried a mix of disappointment and relief. His men, weary and battle-worn, acknowledged the order and began to disengage from their adversaries. Their melodies of courage and determination were tinged with a sense of resignation, yet they understood the necessity of the retreat. As Aric's forces regrouped and retreated, the royal members of the kingdom watched with a mix of fear and trepidation. From their vantage point, they witnessed the enemy's relentless advance, magical powers crackling and monstrous creatures tearing through the defense

Losing My Siren Luna

Losing My Siren Luna

“He’s helping the maids and women get into the bunkers, then he will be down. Niomi can’t travel on the ladder safely so he is carrying her. You should go inside and take refuge too.” I snort. I focus my magic in my hands until 2 blades materialize with my powers. “You may take refuge if you wish. I’ll be staying here.” He growls, but doesn’t push me. Why are the pirates invading here? I thought they were plaguing the seas around Alpha Wayne’s lands. Not here in the south. Should I call for King Brennus? This pack isn’t truly his concern, but he will make it his concern for the sake of his daughter. He won’t let her return to a pack in ruins.

Such a awesome story. The many twists & intrigue kept the flow interesting. It has everything heartbreak, intrigue, redemption, action and most of all a great HEA. Definitely a keeper & a reread for me

One of the best books I read. A heroine I respect, a society where men serve women they love, women’s and children’s rights. Sirens, fairies, elves and dark fae. A reminder that everyone has a story, experiences make you, the importance of communication and to seize the day - you only live once.
