"It's not a drone," Richard whispered, his face turning grey. "No," Joshua said. "It’s a Gravekeeper." The first Gravekeeper clawed its way out of the earth, its metal limbs grinding against the stone. It stood ten feet tall, its eyes burning with a cold, blue fire that made the drones look like candles.

She warned him to try to push him with her hands but no answer! Icardi gulped as he watched them, turning to the guard next to him and shouting, "The Alpha Beta Club is turning!" Black raised his head and Rene held her breath involuntarily when she saw his bloody eyes looking at her human and not friendly at all. we are back "Black" whispered in a trembling voice and her pulse slowed with great fear to try to pull herself out from under him, but she screamed curled up around her body when he roared wildly, warning her not to move.

It was a revolution. "Sora and her pack saved my life!" Killian shouted, his eyes daring anyone to disagree. "They saved my wife! They saved my son! From this day forward, the Ghost Pack is no longer hidden! They are the Guardians of the Gray Peaks! They are Blackwood blood, and anyone who treats them otherwise answers to me!" Sora stood tall, her head held high, her good eye burning with a fierce light. She didn't say anything, but the way she gripped her spear told the whole story.

Annabel froze, her grip tightening on her blade. “Not again,” Damian muttered, his voice low. Elijah’s eyes narrowed. “It’s not rogues this time.” The growl grew louder, and from the shadows, a massive figure emerged. It wasn’t a wolf. Its form was twisted and unnatural, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Annabel took a step forward, her blade raised. “What is that?” Elijah’s voice was grim. “A guardian. It’s here to protect the Archives.”

The Guardian snarled and latched his jaws around the Hunter’s throat again, putting more pressure. “You should be dead for that reason alone.” The Guardian let go of his throat and turned towards me. The Hunter remained where he was. I examined the lead Guardian as he slowly stalked towards me. He had dark brown fur that almost blended into the night with the same brilliant eyes as everyone else. He towered over me, and I trembled in the spot, and he lowered his face to sniff me. He growled and bared his teeth as he turned back to the Hunter.

Both had raven black hair, almost appearing as if they were brothers. “Just let me go, I promise I won’t tell anyone about anything.” I pleaded. “Sorry, but we can’t let you leave. You are the Keeper of the Dragon Stone and Cyran is your mate and guardian. “Excuse me?” I blanched at them, unable to believe what I was hearing.

He arched an eyebrow at me. "They have more of us…" another of the guardians said, stepping forward. "I am Wulfgar Hawk, I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting you." The guardian, wearing human skin like the rest of us, was built like my kind, but his eyes were of a strange colour like the rest of the guardians. His was deep red like the colour of blood. I found it unnerving — it seemed unnatural. "Well, Wulfgar Hawk, that sounds like Selene's problem…" I said.

I ask angrily. My mother turns to look at me. “Sweetheart, we had to leave the pack. It was important.” “What do you mean, ‘leave the pack’? We’re going back, right?” “Alessia? It’s my father that asks. “Do you know what you are?” “Yes. I am a Guardian.” Alessia replies. “Wait. What do you mean you’re a Guardian?” I ask out loud so I can figure out what is going on. It’s my mother that responds. “When you first let Alessia forward, her eyes glowed a bright golden color. Only a Guardian’s eyes are gold sweetheart.”

I replied to him in a low tone. It calmed him down a little. He was worried about me too. I could definitely understand the emotions I could see in their eyes. "You all don't have to be worried about me. I am never going to be part of anything related to Lucifer. I am part of something else. I am a chosen guardian. A group of people who were bestowed powers by God to protect this world. I am not going to be working under Lucifer. Or anyone with any dark plans to destroy this world." I honestly added in a low tone. I was looking into my father's eyes the whole time I was explaining them about the purpose of my life.

Beginning to circle him slowly as though to appraise the worth of the assets within his possession, she submitted a counteroffer instead, “How about that shadow in your care?” “Selphir?” Cazer replied, unable to completely negate the natural rise in his voice as he asked the question. There was the vague cruel parting of her lips again as she answered, “The shadow of the Moon Gate Guardian.” Aware now that she had meant Chiri Krane’s shadow. Cazer’s eyes pinched into a severe glare as his head turned to regard the morbid Guardian who circled him.
