"I already told you about this and I’ll say it again. Don't smile...Just, don't." "Why?" "It doesn't suit you, your character. I mean, to put it bluntly, you look like a shark when you smile." I flashed him a small smile. My cute, adorable smile. It's really true! There's really nothing wrong with his smile, it's just that he doesn't know how to control his facial muscles. When smiling, he really looked like a shark with those strong sets of pearly white teeth as his whole gums also showed. And adding with his blank eyes, the smile he makes looks like a constipated shark, no, more like an evil scheming shark.

His smile sharpened, slow and dangerous. “Well, well. The game just got interesting.”

I don't have friends - I am not sure if that is something that I should be proud of. Well, it's not like I don't try to approach my classmates or try to interact. It’s just that I have a weird smile. No, it's not the type of smile that involves weird and rotten teeth - I have perfectly white and straight teeth. You see, my smile is fatal and dangerous. Just one look at these weapons and even the ferocious growl of a mountain lion would seem harmless. If this were a comic, I would call this attack: The Killer Smile.

I watch her through the large mirror for a moment before I speak. “How do you do it?” I ask quietly, my voice cutting through the silence. “Hold yourself together and play… this part without losing your mind?” She pauses, just for a fraction of a second, before meeting my gaze in the mirror. Then she smiles. It is a beautiful smile. Perfect one. “I smile,” she says simply. “I will myself to believe that I am happy. Even when it feels like I cannot take it anymore, I still smile.” There is no hesitation in her voice and no crack to give anything away. It is almost unsettling how convincing it is.

The lady answered. " Then what type of smile is a happy smile?" Holden couldn't help but ask. A smile creeped up the lady's lips on Holden's question. " Well I think a happy smile should be just like this; " The corners of your mouth turns up in a natural curve, you grin naturally and laugh like this" The lady answered demonstrating it. " Com'on, close your eyes and imagine what I am talking about" She said and Holden slowly closed his eyes. He suddenly could see himself in an unfamiliar place, which looked like a seashore. He was putting on white throughout and before him, was a lady putting on a white dress. He couldn't see her face clearly but only saw her lips which was creeped up in a w

It’s not a question. I nod. Her smile is slow, satisfied. Predatory. “Good boy.”

My smile was hesitant and small but it was a smile nonetheless. “Deal.”

The word emerged gruff. She smiled at him and that illusion grew. What the hell was he doing wanting to smile back? Tim asked himself. She’d ruined their friendship. Not that he was still mad about that. He didn't care enough to be mad. So instead of smiling back or saying anything, he frowned slightly and turned away from her.
