My complaints fell on deaf ears, and he left me to start reading.
My first choice was about werewolves. I was already involved with one, so it was only natural that I would want to know about them first. To my surprise, the book had nothing to do with learning about them. All it had were recipes and literature on how to kill them. I guessed this was the hunter's version and side of the supernatural world. I browsed through the others, and they were all the same. No wonder Gavin expected me to finish reading them in ten days. Seventy per cent of the books consisted of drawings and diagrams.
I did not leave the library until it was evening. Too tired to eat, I had a sandwich and retired to my
