Anele shouted as she pointed at the unconscious body angrily. “Anele,” Coen warned. “No, I am the only blood child of both Levi and Elena Emyr, they sent me here to harbour this imposter, therefore I am the real treasure of this mating hunt!” She screamed erratically. “Anele!” Coen ordered in a deep and bellowing tone. Anele went silent as her face paled the moment his authoritative voice shook through her bones; he was her Alpha and the only one who could control her unruly side.

He dropped to his knees. “Ah—” His voice broke into a growl as his back arched unnaturally. It happened fast. Muscles bulged beneath his skin. His spine contorted. Bones cracked like dry branches snapping underfoot. His eyes widened, turning a deep, burning crimson, the unmistakable hue of an Alpha bound to the Moon.

“But I don't recall asking for your interpretation of my leadership, Tyran.” “Yeah, and I don't recall you ever ignoring reality before,” he shot back, equalling my stance. The temperature in the room suddenly dropped. A warning he felt too, but didn't step back. That's one thing that defines Tyran. “As Alpha,” he began, quietly. “You're supposed to see clearly more than anyone. Don't be fooled by who you taught is right.” Hold up, that hit a line. My gaze sharpened immediately. “Watch yourself.”

（Third-person POV.） "Sent where?" Joric's voice trembled, but he fought to keep it steady. "To her mate's pack, of course," Marta replied, like she was talking about the weather. New mate? Joric’s mind went blank. "Who is her new mate?" He heard his own voice as if from a great distance. "The Alpha of Silvermoon," Marta said with a small laugh. "Alpha Torin. It's quite something, isn't it? For Faelan to be claimed by an Alpha that powerful."

The taunts and sarcasm in his voice made the men laugh. "A hundred thousand." This one was closer to the front. Older. Gray at his temples and a smile that made my skin crawl with worms. “Is that all the princess is worth?” Another laughter took everyone in the room. Anya wanted to shift and show everyone what we were made of. But I don’t think I can take all the alphas in the room at the same time. This would be a sucide move and even in my current state, I wasn’t ready to leave the world.

Queen Isle was dumbfounded, she gazed silently at the black witch who was staring blankly at her. The black witch suddenly let out a chuckle, the heavens were growling heavily as the drizzle began to plunge on the earth. Alpha was still rumbling, and grumbling at the guards, he battled to let loose of the strong chains tied around him —but it seemed to be extremely strong for him as he struggled to dash after his wife. Not with deafening shrill, unbearable pain, glowing crimson blood, and salty tormenting tears being witnessed by every soul. I do not know what kind of torture did the three Alphas will do but I knew it will be an unforgiving one. I scanned each Alpha’s face. And among the three, Tyler has the one with the most unreadable expression. My Alpha could be a fluffy teddy bear on some nights. But often…he can be a dinosaur that will surely give you a chase if you ever turn your back at him.

King Zavan said. “My Alpha,” Beta Tyler said. But not without a glance towards me before he stood up. The Tyrant King knelt before me then. “Come,” he said, holding a massive hand out towards me. “There is nothing left for you here.” My gaze trailed from the span of his palm, to the now-silent, now-unmoving corpse. Derek’s eyes were still partially open. Blood leaked from his slackened mouth. It was a horror, but more vivid were the images behind my eyelids that reawoken to tuck this one in among the fold. Surely I would see it in my dreams afterall.

Tyler said calmly. Samson stood so fast he slammed his knee against the coffee table. “Tyler—” “Sit down, Dad.” “You cannot be serious.” Natasha’s voice was hard now. She held herself perfectly straight between the two enforcers, not struggling, just staring at him. “Tyler. I am your mother.” “I know who you are.” “You have no right to do this!” “I am the Alpha of Nightshade,” Tyler said quietly. He didn’t raise his voice. There was no point. “I have every right.”
