How to Escape from a Ruthless Mobster

How to Escape from a Ruthless Mobster

POV: Beatrice The stems of my bouquet bent beneath my grip, each step down the aisle tightening my hold until the fragile blooms threatened to break. The sight before me was every bit as pristine as the planners had intended: white chairs perfectly aligned, delicate flowers swaying in the ocean breeze, and a makeshift altar framed by the endless horizon. Yet, for all its beauty, the scene felt hollow, each detail mocking me with its cheerful façade.

Silent Flames, Forbidden Paths

Silent Flames, Forbidden Paths

His voice slides through the air, smooth and measured, every syllable sharp as glass. "Since Miss Hart has finally decided to join us, perhaps she can enlighten us on today’s reading." The floor beneath me vanishes. A rustling of paper. The shifting of bodies. A roomful of people waiting—waiting for me to crash and burn. I force my gaze to the board. The words, written in neat, elegant script, stare back at me like they know I’m about to ruin myself. "The plum blossoms wait for spring, enduring the frost in silence."

Dreaming of Flowers

Dreaming of Flowers

I wasn't about to wreck a home. "So dumb." I wipe my eyes on my knees, but the tears don't stop. I look up and can see people making their way through the trees towards me. I sniff and rest my chin on my hands. My eyes trail down, and through my blurry vision, I can see dozens and dozens of flowers blooming around me. I furrow my brow, wiping at my eyes again and moving to sit on my knees and crouch over the flowers. I hadn't wiped my hands on the ground, but they were still blooming. Pink ones, purple, white. Still smaller than a quarter, but slightly bigger than the last ones I made bloom. And there were a lot more of these too. They continued to appear around where I sat as I watched.

HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

she whispered, brushing the petals gently with the back of her knuckles, "the bloom only lives one day. Then it dies. Just enough time for someone to witness its beauty. But never to keep it." He stared at her then. Hard. "Do you think that's what we are?" She didn't answer. He stepped closer. Close enough that the cold air between them turned warm. "You think we're just here to bloom once and burn out?" "I think we're already burning," she said. Silence. Then she lifted the flower slightly between them. "But if this thing can grow where everything else breaks… maybe it's not about how long we last." Xavier's voice dropped. "Then what is it about?"

THE COLD WOLF'S MATE

THE COLD WOLF'S MATE

He looked steady now, but I could see the cracks beneath. A breeze passed through, and I caught the sweet scent of something familiar. I turned and realized the hedge behind us wasn’t just green—it was dotted with clusters of small, white blooms… jasmine flowers. I reached out without thinking, my fingers brushing a petal. “She liked these,” I murmured. Storm followed my gaze. “Then take one.” I hesitated before plucking a single blossom—its weight barely noticeable in my palm, but to me, it felt heavy. Like holding a memory I hadn’t been ready to face.

Sold to Alpha Brothers

I blinked in astonishment as delicate buds formed at the tips of the tendrils, slowly unfurling to reveal vibrant red roses. My heart skipped a beat as I realized what was happening. Joy filled me. I could still see the garden in my mind. I felt his warmth at my side. The roses continued to grow, their petals unfurling in a mesmerizing dance. I lost sense of where I was and sound as I watched the rose bush grow. The roses swayed gently, their vibrant colors a testament to the strength of my emotions. Then, I realized that the rose bush I had envisioned was this one.

The Dragon's Lost Phoenix Princess

The Dragon's Lost Phoenix Princess

Fuck! “Hey, how is our favourite princess this morning?” I shake my head and make a coffee, ignoring all questions. All I do is smile at them. Once my coffee is made, I leave the kitchen and head to the gardens. Stepping out into the warm spring air, I move towards my favourite spot. Under the blossom tree. I sit down and lean back with a sigh as I lean my head back against it. Watching as the blossoms float aimlessly down in a delicate dance on the breeze. I can never get over the sight of blossoms. I think they are extremely beautiful.

REJECTED BY ALPHA, LOVED BY LYCAN KING

REJECTED BY ALPHA, LOVED BY LYCAN KING

Each delicate pluck seemed to be an unspoken dialogue between Daliah and the flora, a communion with the essence of the garden. As she carefully arranged the blossoms in a woven basket, the morning light played upon the delicate features of her face, casting a soft glow upon her countenance. The tableau she crafted was not merely a collection of flowers; it was a manifestation of her connection with the natural world, a testament to the quiet beauty that unfolded in the tranquil moments of solitude.

The Alpha's Babysitter

The Alpha's Babysitter

She smiled warmly and replied, "Yes, Theo. The rain helps the flowers grow, bringing them the water they need to bloom and thrive. It's like a gentle hug from nature, nourishing and renewing the beauty of the world around us." Theo's eyes sparkled with understanding and delight at Mama Hazel's words, a sense of wonder and appreciation for the interconnectedness of all living things blooming within him. Together, they sat in quiet reverence for the rain's gift of growth and renewal, a reminder of the cyclical nature of life and the beauty found in moments of reflection and connection.

Alpha's Betrayal ~ When Love Turns Cold

Alpha's Betrayal ~ When Love Turns Cold

The Goddess did really put in her all when she was creating them. As we wandered deeper into the orchard, we came across a grove of cherry blossoms, their delicate pink petals fluttering like confetti in the wind. Carlos's eyes were filled with passion as he explained the significance of each flower. But most times I was busy being marveled by the beauty of the flower to listen.

it has been a rollercoaster of emotions so far reading this book. The intrigue is something else ..., aside from being an interesting read there's so much lessons to learn from this and what I can say is; This is a must read! Good one author.

Cliffhanger? I hope there's a sequel to this story, it's just too good to leave it as a cliffhanger. Heck bonus chapters would work, want to know why Rune is acting menacingly towards Seraphina. What's going on with him? Please give us a sequel.
