Finding My Destined Mate

Finding My Destined Mate

But I'm grateful for the clock, stuck in a eternally dark room took away any sense of time passing and it helped give that little bit back in some way making it a little more tolerable. But that damn clock made that ticking sound and it echoed in the room, the first night I had a dream I was the man in the tell tale heart story by Edgar Allan Poe. I now have a first hand understanding of how that would drive you crazy. It was so tempting to just toss that noisy thing out in the hall so I could enjoy the peace and quiet but I needed it to get up in time. I didn't want to make Bianca have to do that everyday. I just hope with time it becomes background noise in my brain but right now tha

said Ava in a taunting tone. " That's not the point, girls shouldn't travel alone. They should always be in packs or at least a duo. " countered Ava. "What the hell do you mean? " asked Mandy, sounding stunned. "Haven't you watched or read Harry Potter Mandy?" inquired Tori. "How is that related? " asked Mandy. " Hermione Granger went to the library alone and got stupefied," said Ava. "Katie bell went to the restroom alone and got cursed," added Tori.

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

Elysia, The distinct bitterness of oleander still lingered in my mouth, coating my senses with its deadly essence. It was the second poison I had recognized, almost immediately after the first. Oleander was ruthless—it weakened the heart, slowly breaking down its strength until it faltered completely. Heart attacks, heart failure, an excruciating end that left no room for recovery. Yet, I was still here.

Poison My Heart

Poison My Heart

He came back out and called for a maid. "Where is my wife?" The maid shivered under his cold gaze. She lowered her head not able to utter a word. He had asked them to make sure all of the other rooms were locked and his wife had no access to any of them except his bedroom but who knew... who knew his wife was a crazy woman. She poisoned all of them and told them they'll all die in thirty minutes if they don't provide the keys and take the antidote. She sounded serious and the sudden sting they felt in their intestines made them realize she was hell, not joking. No one even knew how she spreaded the poison to them. They just started to feel really weak and a stinging pain inside their stomach

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

PUZZLE OF MY HEART

PUZZLE OF MY HEART

But something didn’t sit right. She didn’t know what, but she’d bet her bottom dollar there was more to this than met the eye. A little while later, as she walked up to her bedroom to get ready for the lunch date, Audrey was no nearer to finding an answer for her inward unease. Whatever way she looked at this she couldn’t lose, could she?

Tales of the Heart

Ascott smilingly relayed at her. "Did she read my mind? But hey, I think she's really a cool woman because she treats her workers really well..." Kate thought to herself again. "It's up to your conscience if you're going to do something bad while you're inside the Ascott Mansion. Let me tell you a quote from my favorite American painter and writer, Mr. Walter Inglis Anderson: "Trust is like a vase, once it’s broken, though you can fix it, the vase will never be same again..." So, try not to break the trust, so that we can have a long, harmonious relationship. I hope I made myself clear?" the old Madam stated.

My Forbidden Lover

My Forbidden Lover

I calmed her fears, and she was calm, And told her love with virgin pride; And so I won my Genevieve, My bright and beauteous Bride. "Bravo." She clapped for him, "not bad at all." "You love it?" "Of course I do. And guess what? I have a poem for you. I memorised it here in the hospital, I got bored and decided to learn something new." "Really? Am all ears." He rubbed his palms together in anticipation. "It's titled Annabelle Lee and was written by Edgar Allan Poe." She cleared her throat and started. All thoughts, all passions, all delights,

The Tales of Our Heart

The Tales of Our Heart

"Jealousy is a really bad thing and being jealous of your friend is the worst thing that one can do." Looking at the stranger who had started talking to her out of nowhere, she frowned. "Excuse me?" "Yes?" "I am sorry but did you say something?" Taking the two beer bottles from the bartender's hand, he replied, "If you were the one who is jealous of her friend then yes—" Offering her a bottle, he added, "I think I was talking to you." "I already ordered mine.” Raising her brows at him, she charged him. “What makes you feel that I am jealous of my best friend? How can you say that without even knowing who I am?”

Questions fréquentes

Edgar Allan Poe's poetry has this eerie, melancholic beauty that lingers long after you read it. 'The Raven' is probably his most iconic work—I mean, who hasn't heard 'Quoth the Raven, Nevermore'? It’s got that perfect mix of grief and supernatural dread. Then there’s 'Annabel Lee,' a heartbreaking love poem that feels like a ghostly lullaby. 'The Bells' is another standout, with its rhythmic repetition mimicking the sound of tolling bells, shifting from cheerful to downright sinister.

Lesser-known but equally haunting is 'Ulalume,' where the narrator wanders through a bleak landscape, haunted by memories of a lost love. And let’s not forget 'A Dream Within a Dream,' which questions reality in that classic Poe way. His poems are like little windows into a mind obsessed with loss and the macabre, and I’ve yet to find another poet who captures that mood quite like he does.
