I WON'T MARRY A BILLIONAIRE

I WON'T MARRY A BILLIONAIRE

He had read it twice. --- He sat alone in his apartment. The specific quality of alone that was different from solitude. Solitude was chosen. It had a quality of peace in it or productivity or the specific rest of a person who had decided to be with themselves for a period and was comfortable with what they found there. This was not solitude. This was the alone of a room that had previously held a performance and from which the audience had departed and the performance was therefore no longer possible and what remained was the performer without the performance and the performer discovering in real time what existed underneath it.

Chaotic Obsession

Chaotic Obsession

The words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken desires, with the weight of all the things they couldn't say, couldn't acknowledge in the harsh light of day. Just !ve. A ridiculously small window of time, a mere sliver of the day, but an eternity in terms of what could happen, what could be confessed, what could be broken face to face. The invitation was both terrifying and irresistibly tempting, a siren song luring her toward the rocks. No bar noise. Just the echo of her absence. He was alone, truly alone, stripped bare of the distractions and the noise that usu-ally surrounded him. No Layla, just the ghost of her perfume lingering in his memory.

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

Another tortured creature that stood amid the roar of a surf-tormented shore, contemplating if all we see or seem is but a dream within a dream. He bored me. Intimidating and unapproachable, he sat alone in class, either ignorant or unaware of the mooning girls batting their eyelashes in his general direction. I thought I was above him, more than him, too good to be a cliché like the rest of them. So what if I was a poetry student? So what if I dressed the part, flowing black wraps over black shirts and black jeans and black hair? I didn't need to be the entirety of a cliché and obsess over the volatile being who mused alone in the corner.

Only when it pours do I remember to breathe. By then, he’s gone. and I’m alone again, in the rain, unscathed, lying on a bed of flowers.

From Simp to Queen

From Simp to Queen

This time, she didn't even bother to clean it up, it seemed like she was really angry. She slowly sat up, her mind still immersed in the excitement he had given her, unable to think about anything else. She took the tissue next to her, lowered her head and silently cleaned up. Then she understood his mood. This may resemble something written by a poet. -I gave you the thin streets, the desperate sunset, the desolate moon in the wilderness. I gave you the sadness of staring at the lonely moon for a long time. I gave you the loyalty of a belief that you have never had before. I gave you my loneliness, my darkness, the hunger of my heart.

The Last Tulip Blooms Alone

The Last Tulip Blooms Alone

But every expert said the same thing—once someone's gone, that's it. No coming back. Hemi's heart twisted in pieces. Day after day, he drowned himself in liquor, chasing a miracle that never came. Hoping, just hoping, Elise would somehow open her eyes. One night, Julia crept into his room. Bottles everywhere. Hemi was a wreck, slumped on the floor. She tiptoed closer. "Hemi?" In his haze, he saw someone who felt like home.

Lonely Bride

Lonely Bride

Let us not forget eating alone, sitting alone, sleeping alone, and doing everything alone. Tears are continuously flowing from my eyes, thinking about my past. A painful past. Why, God, am I alone? Why do I not have anyone I can love? Why do I not have anyone who loves me? Am I that bad? When will this get over? Why can't you call me Mama? I want to come to you. Tell me, mama, tell me. I do not want to live anymore. Call me Mama, please. I cry as loud as I can. I know no one will hear me here.

Billionaire' s Possessive Love.

Billionaire' s Possessive Love.

Wearing his clothes, he took out a piece of paper from the book, but his movements halted, seeing the page filled with ink, his heart skipped a beat reading the poem, Like the moon you are flawed, then why you are the only source of light in the darkness. Like the moon, you are far, then why do you go with me everywhere making me feel a little less lonely? Like the moon, I am scared we will never be together that there are no forever. Like the moon, I adore you from afar,Always. Like the moon, you bring tides of emotions, flooding me in saving me from the numbness, this world can offer. Like the moon, you are not of this world, For you, are my moon in the heart that beats for you,

I enjoyed this story very much. Great story that I couldn't stop reading. It held my attention until the very end. There were some grammar issues and name changing which was confusing (Adrain/Aidan and Jake/Jacob). I recommend this book. I will definitely check out other books from this author!

Psychopath Love Series: Dashiel Davin's Forbidden Love

Psychopath Love Series: Dashiel Davin's Forbidden Love

I whispered to the emptiness while watching the colorful sky brought by the fireworks. I found myself crying due to envy for my happy neighbors, contrasting with my feelings of loneliness and sadness. Will it always be like this? Will my new year always be like this? Will I always be alone in welcoming the new year? Will I always end up crying every new year? Will it always be like this?! For Pete's sake, I'm so tired! I'm so tired of feeling alone all the time. I'm so tired of being independent all the time. I feel alone. Yes, I know my grandma is there for me, but I still feel like I'm alone in this life. I feel like I'm the only one fighting the challenges of life. I fucking feel alone!

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

Reading 'Alone' feels like peeling back layers of Poe's soul—it's raw, confessional, and achingly lonely. The poem’s opening lines, 'From childhood’s hour I have not been / As others were,' instantly set this tone of alienation. Poe wasn’t just describing solitude; he was painting a self-portrait of someone who perceived the world differently. The imagery of storms, lightning, and 'the cloud that took the form' suggests his mind was a turbulent place, where beauty and darkness intertwined. Critics often tie this to his real-life tragedies—losing his mother young, his struggles with addiction—but to me, it’s more universal. It’s about the isolation of feeling like an outsider in your own life, something anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood can relate to.

What fascinates me most is how Poe turns loneliness into something almost mystical. The line '—then—in my childhood—in the dawn / Of a most stormy life—' implies his melancholy wasn’t just emotional weather; it was his atmosphere. The poem doesn’t wallow, though—it owns that difference. When he writes of seeing 'what others could not see,' it’s bittersweet: a curse of sensitivity, but also a secret lens to appreciate life’s eerie beauty. Modern readers might connect this to neurodivergence or artistic temperament. Either way, 'Alone' remains a mirror for anyone who’s ever felt like their heart operates on a different frequency.
