Perfectly cooked according to her, overcooked in my opinion.
She loved souffle pancakes but the overcooked ones. So the texture isn’t eggy. I brought my arm to the front, holding before her a bouquet of multicolored roses. There were twelve of them, in six different colors. Red, copper, apricot, yellow, white, and purple.
“Take my heart,” her lower lip curled. “Thank you. I needed this so much.”
I nodded and removed the plate that covered another plate.
“I--”
“Yes, that is turkey bacon and cream cheese.” I described the sandwich.
