No Longer the Outsider

No Longer the Outsider

Eight years into the Cappello family, and only today did I discover there's a meeting room beneath the estate. Half an hour ago, my husband Julian put on his coat and said he was heading to the New Jersey docks to handle a smuggling shipment. Five minutes after he left, the estate's internal line rang. It was Julian's driver, asking if he should have the car washed. It had gotten dirty from yesterday's rain. Julian never rides in anyone else's car for long trips. If he'd gone to New Jersey, his driver should be behind the wheel right now. I went down to the second-level basement garage. His car was still there. The emergency stairwell beside it was inexplicably open. I followed it down and f

Outsider Tag: My Footage, Their Story

Outsider Tag: My Footage, Their Story

Graduation season has arrived, and my girlfriend's childhood best friend, Daniel Whitmore, now a social media influencer, posts a video titled "The Friendship We Shared." It goes viral overnight. Everyone envies the four of them for staying close for ten years. Before long, people are even shipping Daniel and my girlfriend, Evelyn Hayes, swooning over their childhood-sweethearts story. What no one knows is that I film every second of that video. I even write the narration myself. The video is 20 minutes long, yet there isn't a single shot of me. Not even a mention of my name. I ask Evelyn why, but she barely seems to care. "You didn't join us until college. You can't really say you were

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Sonny might not understand that it was a business, but he knew that no one else but Aunt Ser and Uncle Zack were the only exceptions to the paying rule. Hank was dumbstruck for a moment before remarking, “I’m your father, Sonny. How can you compare me with Mr. Lewis? He’s an outsider. Besides, Mr. Lewis isn’t a good man. He’s scary.” Sharing the sentiment, Sonny bobbed his head and replied in his childish voice, “Dunc is scary, but he’s not a bad man!”

This book is very good and the plot keeps you intrigued. The only problem is that the entire book is not out after going in 3 years and only 2 chapter are given per day. I have read 3 other books to completion but can’t seem to get this book done because of the amount of chapters given per day.

★★★★★ I have read and followed this story till Chapter 61. It is one of the best arranged marriage stories I have ever read. The character development of Serenity is great and the writing is very emotional. I also write a similar story about Haya and Hammad on GoodNovel. Readers who love this kind

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

"We came hunting for an old fox and found a lion instead, boys." "Who are you?" I asked flatly. "Pete Bonsignore," he said, his grin widening as he stomped out a cigarette. "All the way from the slums, just to see ya." He stepped forward, smug confidence radiating off of him. At least he had more balls than Eli to show his face. "You came all the way from the ghetto to lay claim on a high school kid? That was dumb," I said, scanning the men behind him.

The Quarry Boy

The Quarry Boy

Nothing to make a fuss about. He transferred by the end of the week. People said he “moved upstate”. But I knew better. I remembered. I always remembered. Because Pinegate Hollow doesn’t have room for soft things. Especially not boys who look too long. Especially not at other boys. And especially not when they get seen.

and a once crippled boy scuttling around smoothly like a crab on multi-jointed, chitinous and numerous legs. Quite frankly, I almost passed out. It was a near thing. A thought—which had been festering in the back of my mind—helped me stave off impending oblivion. Bobby and me. The near-sighted asthmatic boy and the crippled boy. The two most handicapped kids in the whole town, basically. Two dead dogs in that clearing . . . a clearing we always used Sunday nights, and the man in yellow’s words in my nightmare: join Bobby in the sacrifice of Invitation . . .

THE SHAMBA BOY

THE SHAMBA BOY

For whatever reason, that made my heart race a little. “Do you admire her?” I asked Ken jokingly. Ken avoided the question and tried to change the topic. “Did Baba boy beat up Jade? I did not want him to beat the boy. The boy is young.” Ken said. “No, I pleaded with him not to.” I told Ken. Ken suddenly lifted up some hay bales to arrange them properly in the store and I could not fail to see how veiny his hands were. That ignited some desire for him and I wished we were alone.

I Was The Outsider

I Was The Outsider

The member list in the channel was painfully clear, showing only four avatars: my father, my mother, my brother, and Bella. My brother, Enzo, replied a moment later, "Just the four of us. Don't call Aurora." "If she comes, she'll just find another excuse to bully Bella." I stared at the words, frozen. It dawned on me then. In this family, I had been the outsider all along. ... As if on cue, my mother's call came through. "Aurora, there's a sudden sit-down with the capos. We won't be back at the manor tonight."

PLAYBOY'S PERSONAL ASSISTANT

PLAYBOY'S PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Leila stood up and left too. I went back to the room as he walked behind me, he never said a word, he sat on the floor next to the bed Staring at the broken shell of a man that couldn't meet my eyes, i found myself feeling sorry for him. I wanted to ask him about Leila and who Zuri was, but it didn't seem like the perfect time, he looked weak, helpless broken even, and i just wished i could help him feel better. Staring at him, a small frown on his face as he bowed down in shame, i could hardly believe my eyes. I never knew the mighty Jordan Baker could turn into this guy in front of me.

An Outsider in My Own Family

An Outsider in My Own Family

There's also the two-million-dollar sponsorship fee for your high school, the seven-thousand-dollar shoes you had on, and the 80-thousand-dollar piano in the room—all these were bought with my money. I continued, "When you go around flaunting yourself as the scion of the Lewis Corporation, have you forgotten that the Lewis family had gone bankrupt when you were 13? You've felt what it's like sleeping on the streets too. "So, you'd better put away that look of disdain, or I won't hesitate to ask for your family to pay me back everything." Fable's expression fell. However, he refused to budge and remained stubborn. "You're really calculating! It's just money. Madie can earn them too. You're no
