Puppy Love

Puppy Love

They seemed to allow all sorts of nonsense. Knowing how women find their way into working in a brothel, the King banned it and made it an illegal business a long time ago. It reduced kidnap and human trafficking, and it worked. The fact that Hayland openly allowed its operation is what implicated the Alpha, and the rate of underage girls forced to work there did not help matters either. There was no celebration of our mission because of what happened to Harper. I was grateful that Uncle Leo gave Adrian the tracking application. It was to give Adrian peace of mind and help him focus on his mission, but it had saved Harper's life.

This a good read from beginning to end. I feel this book deserves to have a sequel to it. Maybe a bit farther into their lives after the parents step down and hand everything over to the royal heirs now adults. Whether or not it happens PUPPY LOVE and THE DARK SIDE OF FATE deserve all the praise
April
Continuation from my earlier post, that was cut off. The writing is exceptional, and the characters are so vivid and relatable that they feel like a part of one's own family. I just hope both books are read by someone who believes as I do.

CEO Wants His Wife Back In His Bed

CEO Wants His Wife Back In His Bed

April halted, startled at the voice. Poppy. She stood outside the copy room holding a takeaway salad, brow furrowing immediately as she took in April’s appearance. April opened her mouth to offer a deflection, but Poppy didn’t wait for one. She set the salad down and stepped forward. “You look like you’ve been hit by a train.” Her voice wasn’t judgmental. It was concerned. Soft. The kind of voice April hadn’t known she needed until it broke her open all over again. “I’m fine,” April said, too fast. Too flat.

good, but I need redemption after hurt, which is lacking. She should forget all the hurt, so he feels comfortable? he can't be bothered taking responsibility for his past transgressions nor redeem himself? he breaks her heart and now wants her to get over it, so he can keep getting what he wants?
Kimberly
I read this story at the same time as accidentally in his bed and I think that the different perspectives made both novels better. My only issue was with the male lead Noah. He’s a real ass in the first part and needs many story beats to get redeemed. Well written regardless of my gripe.

My back slammed into the bookcase, breaking it and bringing down all of Kalama’s books on me, while Musi ended up flying into the corridor outside of Kalama’s apartment. * Author's note*: This chapter was a special request from a good friend and fellow author, Charlotte Townsend. I like your idea for a story. I would love to read this book and find out what you have prepared for the readers. End of the world stuff are from my favorites, but there aren't many books with this motive ;)

This story really ticked my curiosity. I keep on predicting what would happen next. Can't wait to know more about Kalama and the choices that she would make? This story is worth your time. Good Job, author! ?

The Billionaire's Regret

The Billionaire's Regret

Poppy, who heard the word office and immediately assumed she had a meeting, wore a light blue dress, white cardigan, sneakers, and carried Bunny in one hand and a tiny strawberry handbag in the other. “What’s in your bag?” I asked. “Business.” “What kind of business?” She opened the little purse with the seriousness of someone about to present company assets, then showed me the contents one by one: two crayons, a piece of cookie wrapped in tissue, a silver tiara, and a tiny toy car, all of which were apparently essential for one morning at the Romano Empire. I nodded. “Very diversified portfolio.” Sebastian picked up her little coat from the chair. Poppy looked up. “Daddy, does your office h

Bound by Gun (Book 1)

Bound by Gun (Book 1)

A half-smoked cigarette dangled between my fingers, the glow between my curled, stiff fingers the only warmth in the dimly lit sala. I took another long drag, letting the smoke sear into my lungs before slowly blowing it out. My head was a battle zone, images of deception flashing like gunfire: Victor and his sneer, poisoned wine, and the audacity of men who believed they were more clever than me—better or more worthy of what I’d earned in blood and steel. The business world was a more deadly version of an unloaded pistol with the safety off. Deals sealed with a handshake could explode like grenades. Survival was more than just pulling a trigger; it meant knowing when to pull it, who to aim

Forget About Me, Billionaire

Forget About Me, Billionaire

CHRISTY: I felt Everette’s gaze on me, but I tried to pretend that it did not bother me at all. Little by little, his tears were making me unconscious, and it was too damn hard to pretend that I was not affected at all. “Remember when I said back then that I want to open a coffee shop where customers are also allowed to read whatever books they want while they are waiting for their orders?” Poppy’s eyes brightened as she played with Sebastian’s hands.

The Vampire King’s Beloved Rose

The Vampire King’s Beloved Rose

I didn't want them to do something that would upset them. "Wait, Poppy," Lestat said. I could tell she was scared by her facial expression. Lestat walked, picked up a book from the nightstand, and held it out for her. "I believe this is yours," Lestat said as he held her journal out for her to take. "You don't have to worry. I didn't read it," Lestat said "Thank you," Poppy said with a smile, but Lestat didn't respond, and Lilly and Poppy went to find their rooms.

The Third Book

The Third Book

Nanny Rita said it contains some cute stuff from her high school days – a phase in her life that brought her so much trauma. She breathed deep before opening the bag. It contains old slum books and a diary with broken lock. She smirked thinking that her mother could have forced to open it. She must be disappointed to see nothing juicy about the things that she wrote there. Her younger life was boring and predictable until it wasn't. In fact, each page of her diary contains almost the same events. As she randomly went through each page, she noticed a paper inserted within its pages. She almost dropped the diary upon seeing that paper from way back. It's still obvious that it was once cru

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

"I can think of a few Elixirs to make with them." "No way!" Four put the seeds away quickly. "They are mine you greedy girl. In fact, I am going to plant them now." Four excused himself and scampered away quickly. "Hehe, that was interesting." Ren chuckled and looked at Two. "Alright show me your work." "Right." Two pulled out some things from a regular storage pouch, two rolled-up pieces of paper, and a handwritten book. "This is all I was able to learn." Regular Storage Pouch was able to store everything. But due to it not specially designed for certain things, deterioration happens faster to most items.
