Novel & Cerita Poppy Crown Trolls

“Princess Deloris, will you uphold the customs and duties of the crown?” I nod my head. “I will.” The same voice booms again and snaps me yet again to attention. “Princess Deloris, do you accept the crown?” Again, I nod. “I do.” A couple of clergy step forward. One puts the crown on my head, while the other places the royal golden egg with my family’s crest in my hand. My eyelids again dip, but a slight pain in my shoulder has me whipping my eyelids wide open again.

he roars up loud enough to make his voice reach even the hidden ears of children between and under the tall people. The low branch of the tree is no longer behind the king's head. The glowing round sun is making the crown on his glitter and his light brown face appears lighter closer to white. "Long live king, Thomas" hails the crowd in the consortium. Sound of whistles, wooden drums, and small ball stones striking in hand, rise in the air to the clear and bright sky. King steps down from the stone ring. The round glowing sun behind his head doesn't leave his company.

Can't I go by running through a flowery meadow or some shit? “Someone dropkick this witch.” Pip whisper-yells. I am so tempted to do so. The trolls stare at Astria for a long, heavy moment. Then one of them let out a low, grinding sound that makes my stomach twist before realizing Is it… laughing? Death by an amused troll, what a way to go. “Royal blood,” the troll rumbled. “So many mortals claim it. But your crowns crumble, your names fade. The treaty remains.”

When I finished the main column and set my finger on the initials at the bottom, E and S entwined with A, he decided the moment had ripened. "You are charming," he said, voice pitched to travel, disgust on a leash. "Pirates always are. They tell stories because their hands don't stand up in daylight. But stories are not law. The crown's seal is law." He lifted a paper of his own, thick, smug, ribboned. "By authority of Her Majesty the Queen, of whom this town is very fond, we declare these documents forgeries, concocted by felons to disrupt a sacred Conclave."

I reminded him of that. Mark’s laughter filled the room, "You pull her brand under Crownwell & Brooks, and not only will sales explode, the old men on your father’s board will have no choice but to acknowledge you.” he added and I smiled. But even as he said it, my mind wandered to that final, elusive woman—the one CEO no one could seem to pin down easily. She had built a brand with ruthless speed, but stayed hidden from the spotlight, a ghost among giants. She's a mystery and the last key to my throne. Am never missing this opportunity.

Stepping past her, I walked toward the altar and released my pressure without restraint. In that instant, every werewolf present, including her, dropped to their knees, unable to resist. "Open your eyes and look carefully." I glanced down at her from above. "Who told you it would be those three competing for the throne? "The one who will step onto that throne is me. Seraphina." Camilla’s face twisted slightly at my words, her eyes burning with jealousy. When I withdrew my pressure, she gritted her teeth and spat out one final threat. "Stop bluffing! Our capital is building a new civilization. Once winter passes, I’ll personally lead an army and crush your filthy den!"

“That’s still a discovery.” There’s a beat. Then his shoulders straighten again. Just a little. “So… it’s still my discovery?” “Yeah. It is,” I say with a smile. That grin comes back. Just as fast and just as bright. Like it was never gone. “I discovered a poppy flower!” he declares, louder this time, like he’s correcting the universe. “Yes, you did,” I smile. “How about we make some flower crowns out of your discovery?” I proceed to weave the poppy flowers into crowns.

On yearbook photo day, I went over and stood next to my boyfriend, Blake Whitmore. Madison Vance, the cheer captain and sorority president, showed up late, and the crowd parted for her without being asked. A path opened straight to Blake, who stood dead center. "What took you so long? You just turned every head in the place." Blake smiled softly and pulled her into the spot beside him. I was pushed out of the frame. Tyler Brooks, my friend since childhood, caught my arm. "Claire, don't fight Madison for the spot. She's the main character today." Then he traded places with me and took the spot next to her. The crowd started whooping. The fraternity president stood on one side and the vice pre

Mouths fell open, eyes widened, But just then, The crown flipped backward. Swayed toward Liora. And slowly settled on her head. “The Luna Queen was crowned.” Yella stood frozen, her hands still outstretched, mouth open. She was dressed like a queen. …but seen as nothing.

Yet here I was, forced to swallow the unimaginable. Satisfied that she had quenched a thirst I never had, Selene pressed a book into my hands. One glance at the cover made my heart sink. Trolls. Of course it had to be trolls. In that instant, I understood Kael’s disdain for the entire franchise. This girl’s obsession was unlike anything I had ever witnessed. It coated her world—her words, her shelves, even the Princess Poppy hair ties woven into her braids. She could walk into a boardroom tomorrow and sell their brand better than any professional, all without knowing she was doing it.
