Zena's POV Emotions churned within me as I stood before the captured right hand of El Fuego. The sight of Mr. Lopez stirred a whirlwind of conflicting feelings, a potent concoction of relief, anticipation, and a lingering sense of apprehension. She carefully opened the belt, thinking of a way to prevent Robin from leaving a seed in her womb. However, because Poppy was too slow, Robin opened his trousers on his own. The long black pant drooped down to the ankles, exposing a dark crimson underwear that Robin then lowered. “Use your mouth,” Robin instructed.

Lorenzo's most trusted right-hand man, Tommy, was reporting the latest developments. "Good," Lorenzo nodded coldly. "Keep up the pressure. Leave them no room to breathe." After every bloody acquisition, Lorenzo would push the property deeds in front of me. "For you, my queen." He always said it as if he were presenting precious jewels, not a dark empire worth billions. I would laugh and tell him he was spoiling me rotten, but he would just kiss the back of my hand earnestly. "I need the entire underworld to know that you can have anything you want."

Her parents had been over the moon at the news and had immediately gone out and bought what seemed to be an entire male infant wardrobe. The mailman had left the package with Roxy, who'd brought it over as soon as Poppy had arrived home from the coffee shop. Together, they'd unpacked the box and oohed and ahhed over tiny blue onesies, an adorable T-shirt emblazoned Grandpa's Little Buddy, and various other miniature accessories.

After sharing affection with Evander yesterday, Poppy’s body felt lighter when she opened her eyes this morning. “Evan, wake up!” Poppy shook Evander’s body a few times. “Can’t you let me sleep a little longer?” Evander’s hand reached out to hug Poppy’s waist again. Poppy rolled her eyes lazily. Not wanting to let Evander go just like that, Poppy shook his body again, this time with more force. “Hey, the assault unit members are about to leave. We have to hurry to catch up with them; otherwise, we won’t be able to enter the base,” Poppy said again.

I take two bottles of cold water out of the fridge and turn back to Poppy . "God you two are so in love it's gross. Now get over here it's face mask time" Poppy states as she picks up the container filled with sticky green cream and tosses me a head band. I pull it around my face and secure the hairs out of the way as we both begin to cover our skin with the cream.

I was unpacking the final suitcase when the apartment door swung open to revel Poppy standing there smiling as she ran over to me pulling me into a giant bear hug, it was then that I noticed a different scent was wrapped around her that was similar to Tyler’s, yet there was something else. “Wait!! Why do you smell different? What’s happening? Why are you crying?” I asked, worry was beginning to set in as this was out of character for my best friend. Harper and I had swiftly formed a strong bond during her time in Grizlo, bringing us closer together as friends. After some deliberation, I decided on a short, form-fitting peach dress that emphasised my curves. I adorned it with a pearl necklace and matching earrings while Harper expertly styled my hair and applied makeup.
