Dear ex-husband, you will regret this

Dear ex-husband, you will regret this

I opened it with a swipe, and reading the last messages left me convinced that my thoughts weren't just mere imagination. It all happened; my husband divorced me for real. Before I signed it that very day, he had sent to me the soft divorce papers. A sharp pain in my chest caused me to clutch at my bedsheet. The pain of not being able to receive the love I gave was a deep sense of failure. The ludicrous things I did for this love thing are things I wouldn't do anymore. Indeed, stupid love that isn't reciprocated is the worst thing that could happen to anyone.

After the Ninth Breakup, He Regretted It

After the Ninth Breakup, He Regretted It

I came back from picking up takeout to find the fingerprint lock on our front door wouldn't recognize me. The passcode had been changed too. I was about to call my boyfriend Lawrence when I remembered he'd just broken up with me. I looked down at myself, wearing nothing but loungewear and slippers, a coffee stain splashed across my shirt. After a moment's thought, I caved again and sent Lawrence an apology. But the red exclamation mark beside it told me he'd already blocked me. This was the ninth time he'd broken up with me, and the ninth time he'd blocked me. I wanted to knock, but my hand rose only to hang in the air for a few seconds before dropping limply to my side. That closed door mig

Shadows in Arms

Shadows in Arms

"Now I fight for custody. You go back to New York and rebuild your life. And we see if time and distance can heal what we broke." "That sounds like goodbye." "It is. For now. Maybe forever." He finally touched my hand, just briefly. "But Hartley? I do not regret loving you. I regret how we ended. How I handled things. How we both let fear override trust. But the love itself? That was real. Maybe the only real thing in my life." "I do not regret it either. Even though it destroyed me." "We destroyed each other. That is what people like us do. People too broken to love safely. Too damaged to choose wisely." He stood. "Goodbye, Hartley. I hope your next love is with someone whole. Someone who d

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

“You invested so much into that last relationship, only to end up with such a result. Right after the breakup, you were distraught, absent-minded, and you couldn’t eat or sleep. “You even secretly got medication for your insomnia without telling us. We were all heartbroken for you and were so worried that because of this one heartbreak, you wouldn’t dare pursue happiness again. “Sheila, you’re right. There are many heartbreakers out there, but there are also plenty of good men. “The fact that that bastard left you just means you two weren’t meant to be. He wasn’t the one for you. “You’ll find someone better than him and live a happy life. If you ever meet again someday, he’ll regret his deci

This book is very good and the plot keeps you intrigued. The only problem is that the entire book is not out after going in 3 years and only 2 chapter are given per day. I have read 3 other books to completion but can’t seem to get this book done because of the amount of chapters given per day.

Romance with the doctor.

He said, looking at himself in the mirror. “Ten steps? What is he talking about? I asked him confused. “Ten things to get rid of after a breakup:” That man seemed like an encyclopedia: 1) The memories of that love 2) The expectations of getting back together 3) The presumption of being the only one 4) The greed to remain friends 5) The selfishness of being remembered 6) The hope that he doesn't find someone else 7) The obsession with having a second chance 8) Regret for things you didn't do

Too Late To Regret Divorcing Me

Too Late To Regret Divorcing Me

I said those words loudly wanting more people to hear it. Rachel finally managed to get up to sit at the end of the pool. She was catching her breath as the swim was not easy for her. “Vince please, I made mistake in the past. But, I am a changed woman now. Please give me another chance” I laughed out loudly and shook my head. “Rachel, it is best if we go on our separate way. Let’s break up. I have nothing more to say. Go home” Rachel started to cry and was about to show signs she was going to faint. It was making me laugh even louder.

My Husband Regretted Divorcing Me

My Husband Regretted Divorcing Me

That question again. Always too late. Lena finally looked up. “Because I wanted one thing in my life untouched by legacy.” Her voice was steady. “You.” The word hit him harder than any accusation. She held his gaze. “And I was wrong.” Silence stretched between them. Heavy. Regret settling like dust. Then she walked past him. But just before reaching the door, she stopped. Without turning back, she said: “The tragedy isn’t that you divorced me, Sebastian.” A pause.

Ex-fiance's regret

Ex-fiance's regret

I curl up on the cold marble tiles and weep. I’m such a fool. How could I expect him to love me? Seeing me look like this, of course his love would falter; I just had so much hope So much faith in our love.. in my love. Where do I even start from? He was the only thing keeping me together, the only reason I lived. He was my everything.. and now he’s gone. How do I pick up the pieces? How do I go on alone? How? It hurts too much. Too much. More than the wounds from the fire. More than the broken glass piercing my skin. More than any pain I had ever embraced in my life.

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

I am leaving him; we are splitting up. "I can't believe this is happening," he murmurs. "I can't believe it." I look down, unsure what to say. Right now, I feel calm and sure. But I know that tomorrow, the day after, and for months--maybe years--to come, I will be plagued by feelings of doubt and regret. It's always like that during a breakup. No matter how sure you think you are, doubt creeps in. How could it not, when you are leaving someone you loved with all your heart?

The Sweetest Revenge

The Sweetest Revenge

"Oh, Jonathan. Can't you just be a well-behaved ex-boyfriend? If you were, I'd still respect you for being a man about it." "Giselle has been shining on her own ever since the breakup, which is why Jonathan started getting restless." "Do you think Jonathan would still regret it if Giselle's life had turned for the worse instead?" "That's difficult to say. He might regret it, or he might not." "I think some people are just masochists. He didn't cherish her properly when they were together, but he's now full of regret after breaking up with her. I feel like that's not love. It's just some kind of psychological thing."
