Bavina’s POV I’ve been staring at Paul’s name, thinking if I’ll call him because until now, he haven’t texted or called me. I called his friends earlier also but they told me it’s not new to them that Paul will go missing for a day everytime this day comes, but they also have no idea where he is. “You know what, instead of staring there, try to write, look, your readers are waiting for your update.” I looked at Shia when she spoke.

He had to be ready for anything. The story was considered to be over when closure and or justice had been met by all involving characters, or if he died or was unable to continue in the story. ‘Another sketchy statement, but it just means I need to give a satisfying ending to all the directly involved characters.’. Those were the main points to the contract. He just needed to not tire himself out, protect himself and give a satisfying ending.

POV: AARON After my bath, I lay patiently on the bed, waiting to be drawn into her dreams, thinking about our connection. I immersed myself in memories of our intimate moments, especially the times we ventured to the top of the mountain. I remembered how awestruck she looked when she “saw” the sunset through my eyes. I recalled how beautiful her face was, flushed from the icy wind, and how shy she felt being completely naked on top of me, fully surrendering to our desires.

NARRATIVE POV Frankie watched as the pack scrambled in panic at the discovery of Troy Presley, murdered in his own backyard. His parents were inside, watching movies in their entertainment room in the basement. They failed to hear their sons' cries for help, and somehow, that pleased Frankie even more.

Third Person Pov It was already night time and Nicholas and Lydia had spent the entire day talking about their lives, getting to know each other better. After Nicholas had opened up to Lydia about the trauma he had experienced when he witnessed his mother and nurse's murder, Lydia felt compelled to share her story as well. Taking a deep breath, she began, "I know you already know this, but I wanted to explain it to you myself. When I was younger, I worked at a whorehouse."

Third Person Pov After Selina passed through the tunnel, she emerged into the human world. Just as she was about to step out fully, a rogue member of the North Riverbed pack lunged from the shadows, its claws grazing her leg. Pain seared through her as warm blood spilled down, staining the earth beneath her. Before the creature could strike again, Drillan appeared swift and mercilessly delivering the fatal blow that ended its threat.

NARRATIVE POV Present-day Tia continued to stand there in the doorway of the silent packhouse and watched as her younger self wiped away her tears and smiled at Bree. She looked at her with trust and unyielding loyalty. The only friend she had. Little Tia took Bree’s offered hand and worked on the laundry together. Tia filled Bree in on all the stories she learned watching her family, never realizing that she was inadvertently spying on her parents for her father's secret mistress. Bree always kept Tia close, extracting the information she needed.
