Pregnancy Trope Books Novels & Stories

Miranda’s P.O.V You know, as someone who had been a fan of romance novels and films alike in my teenage years, I always found it very astounding when a female lead would unexpectedly wind up pregnant with the child of the hot and charismatic male lead, in fact, it was a popular trope for me. But now that the exact same scenario was happening in my life, all I could feel was complete numbness. Me…pregnant? I am pregnant, with Davien’s kid?

“Why would he, he knew when we had sex and it was when we were drunk,” “So you guys didn’t use protection?” “No, we were drunk, I didn’t even know we were supposed to use it,” Jessie chuckled at her statement, “that’s my naïve friend,” “Hey!” She received a blow on her shoulder. “So anyways, let’s get to what to do and what not to do during your pregnancy, I brought films and books we could read too,” She brought out the books and films she brought, “Wow, there are documentaries too,” “Yeah, I watched them a lot when I was pregnant with Harley and I haven’t touched them since then,”

“You’re right. I need to get some books for pregnancy tomorrow. Everything they have. Do you think it’s different from normal human pregnancies?” “I know for a fact that it is.” “You will not stop me from reading books like that this time around?” She asked, side-eyeing me. I fought to cover up my laughter with a cough. She was still sore that I didn’t want her reading about demons. We had fought over it for over an hour — well; she did — and some rather rewarding events had followed. “I don’t know dick about pregnancy, but guess what I know everything about?” At her scoff, I laughed. “That’s right. Demons.”

I breathe heavily as he pins me to the wall, his hands wrapped tight around my throat I could barely breathe. ‘You hear me, Sera? I found you first. I noticed you first! I fell for you first. No one else, I mean, no one should put their hands on you, because if they do, I swear to God, Sera, I'll fucking break their arms and legs and serve it to you to eat!’ He growls. Seraphina Puckett is the perfect definition of trauma. A walking trauma. She tries to navigate her life, trying to bring in sunshine but as the world is determined to make it rain on her, what does she do? Does she get beaten in the rain or walk through it? When her abusive father gets out of prison and is out t

Now, things were different. These days, my reading consisted mostly of the pregnancy books Asmodeus had given me. They were thick, detailed, and utterly unromantic, filled with diagrams and nutritional charts. The chef at the palace had even been kind enough to take one of nutrition and ensure that all my meals were prepped accordingly for the triplets growing inside me. Every bite was calculated, every nutrient accounted for. I'd been packing more food as well, small, nutritious snacks, especially since I knew I'd be busy with Bernadette, potentially for hours.

I picked up a couple books that were on the floor by the couch and looked at them, curious as to what she’d been reading. My eyebrows flew up. One was a book about pregnancy… it told about all the changes your body went through … what to eat .. what not to do.. shit like that. The other was a book on baby names. Color me shocked. I never would’ve thought she’d care that much to even have books like this. “You’ve been reading these?” I asked her. She looked away from the tv to see what I was holding with a mouth full of food. Her eyes got wide and she nodded her head.

what do they call it? ”Here dear.” I turn to the doctor and see him handing me a small book. From the picture on the cover I can tell that it’s a pregnancy booklet. The woman softly cradling her belly has her eyes closed, but my focus really is on the mark someone has drawn over her protruded belly. “What does this mean?” The Tempest Doctor responds without even looking at me, “It’s nothing. Just one of the marks we use in the pack to differentiate the normal pregnancy books from our pack books. Unlike every other pregnancy booklet out there, that book has a little bit of knowledge from every woman in the Tempest pack that has ever carried a child to term.

It had been two days since the confrontation in Damian’s office. Two days of whispers, stares, and the constant buzz of the city reminding me that nothing about my life was ordinary anymore. I had tried to bury myself in mundane tasks—buying tiny clothes, blankets, toys—anything to feel a connection to the child growing inside me. But no amount of soft cotton or pastel colors could mask the storm brewing around me. The boutique was quiet, a small refuge in a city that never slept. I ran my fingers over a soft, cream-colored onesie, imagining the little hands and feet that would soon fill it. The moment brought a pang of hope and fear so sharp it made me wince.

**** Author's note If you are here to read Pregnant for the bully, welcome. Okay, this is a note for sensitive readers. This book is a dark romance, it has sexual themes, and verbal abuse. This book is entirely fiction. Abuse, either sexual, physical or verbal is a very real thing in our world. I do NOT condone any behavior of such, nor do I think it's okay. This is purely fiction once again.
