I started carefully. Any traces of his smile vanished. “I'm listening then.” I drew an uneven breath. “Those arrows… I saw them… in my vision.” A deep frown appeared. “Explain.” I sat on my heels and placed my hands on my lap. “I have a special gift… Since I was a child, my instincts warned me of danger. Then, I started having premonitions. They were usually vague. There were some clues that helped me choose the right path, but recently… my visions have become clearer.”

I returned to my room, my body heavy with fatigue but my mind racing. As I lay in bed, staring at the dim ceiling, my thoughts drifted to the dreams—those strange, vivid visions that had followed me since I arrived at the Blue Bell Pack. They weren’t just coincidences. Time and again, they had come true, leading me to moments like today. The certainty I’d felt about Rmonica’s pregnancy was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. It wasn’t just hope or intuition; it was an unshakable knowing. I couldn’t deny it any longer.

Keep in mind that premonitions can happen in dreams, through touch, or when visiting new places. You will know you are having a premonition because it will violently take you out of what you are doing, feeling or thinking, and take you to an unknown place.” Hecate tells me. Artemis adds, “You must pay attention to everything around you. Mia must act as a recorder. This is extremely important, Emma. You must integrate yourself with her.”

These were basically what I was living for recently, anything to remind me that Aiden was alive and that one day he would wake up again. I haven't had another vision either and I wasn't sure whether that was a good thing or not. When I wasn't helping out with the pack, or curled up next to Aiden, waiting and watching for any signs that he was waking up, I was in the library, scouring the whole place for books on visions. I had done my research and what I had learnt hadn't made me any more relaxed. Visions are premonitions, sometimes they are variable to interpretations but sometimes the visions are simply a warning of what is to come.

I hardly have slept for images of that dead girl and the fear of every noise. While I worry for him, I also fear him coming for me. Every sound or shadow cause me to lurch and jump. I have this feeling of an impending doom, like someone is out for me or going to betray me. Barima had told me once that before she got her premonitions, that she developed a strong paranoia, and that paranoia turned out to be advanced intuition. This does little to comfort me, only adding to my ever growing list of worries. Along with Noxodius possibly appearing out of nowhere.
