Besides, I have all day tomorrow to be freaked out. Thankfully, I have a stack of Jane Austen books on my dresser. I reach for Pride and Prejudice because it's my favorite. I've read it at least ten times and it never fails to take me to another place. And, no matter where I begin, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet eventually end up together and live happily ever after.

The inside of the vehicle was hot because of the heater and he was suffocating with all the clothes he had to wear to cover himself. He arrived at the literature faculty and headed to the auditorium. The professor was talking about one of the most popular works in England. Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen was one of his favourite authors because she wasn't afraid to write and describe things as she saw them in real life. He smiled because he knew everything the professor was saying. After all, he had already read all her books, maybe twice or more. In order not to waste time, he opened his book; The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Lenora I was so restless, but couldn't shut my eyes. TV didn't help, so I reached out for one of the novels I had seen in the library, "Pride and Prejudice." I tried to immerse myself in the lives of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, but when I adjusted the angle of my desk lamp, the pages blurred, and with each turn, my interest waned. My mind wandered to CJ and Kia in the bedroom. It was ironic because she had more right to him than I did. She was his wife, and I was just the other woman.

Her heart was already broken. “What book are you reading?” Nathan broke the silence. “Uhmmm” she glanced over at the title, “pride and prejudice by Jane Austen” “We should read together then” Nathan climbed onto the bed and beckoned on Audrey who he gently tucked in between his thighs, her head was on his Chest while his manly hands were on her bare tummy. Audrey could feel the heat already rising in her, the way he was close and the sound of his steady breathing in her ear. The only thing she wanted to do right now was just to….

Sarah said looking ugly at Patrick, but he just ignored her question and sitting in her bed he placed a book on her tummy. Back then he brought her a lot of books and chocolate and presents and when she found the truth everything was burned. “I know that you love to read, so I brought you a book. Is one of my favorite” he whispered and showed her the cover. “Pride and Prejudice?” and Sarah started to laugh.

“Here you go. Pride and Prejudice. First edition. Just as you described.” Jasmine reached for it, but he pulled it back, his fingers brushing hers. “You know, I’ve been wondering something,” he said, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “Why does a girl like you care so much about a book? You don’t seem like the type to get worked up over something so trivial.” She glared at him, her cheeks flushing. “It’s not trivial. It’s important to me. Now, can I have it?” He took a step closer, his presence overwhelming.
