Crimson Chronicles: Apollo & His Queen

Crimson Chronicles: Apollo & His Queen

Percy "Black silky hair placed in a high ponytail, red lipstick, black leather pencil dress, Lady Kay's black gloss pumps rung through the corridors as a signal to the gates of our hell opening. She was a gorgeous woman in her early thirties who doted on Blake and me." "Before she took over, the orphanage was once a loving home by the original House Mother, Lady Blossom. But soon after, turned into our living hell. We were Lady Kay's most prized assets."

Penelope

Penelope

Romantic! I admired them before reading the little white card that was tucked between two roses."For my Maid of Honour."I smiled, but that quickly turned to a sigh. At least I can always rely on Carmen to get me flowers. It's sweet of her. Mason walked out of the master suite holding Penelope."Who are they from?" "From a secret admirer. Are you jealous?"I joked. "No, I'm not jealous. I've no reason to be."He put Penelope down and picked up a suitcase. "Whoever they're from they clearly don't know you."

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.
Madeline Crist
If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

When Persephone Stopped Waiting

When Persephone Stopped Waiting

A woman leaned close to them, smiling softly as she smoothed my son’s hair. The boy was Eren, the child I had nearly given up half my life force to bring into the world. The woman was not me. I was Persephone, goddess of spring, queen of the Underworld, and Hades’s wife under every sacred law. Not long after, Nympha posted her own update on the social feed. In the illustration, my mother’s pomegranate brooch lay beside a small charm of laurel and asphodel, clumsily woven by a child’s hands. Beneath it, she wrote:

Bound To The Cruel Alphas (SPICY)

Bound To The Cruel Alphas (SPICY)

The other team members shouted their agreement, all of them celebrating like we'd already won the entire tournament instead of just one match. Before I could say anything else, I heard a familiar voice behind me. “Hey.” I turned around. Percy stood there holding a bouquet of flowers - wildflowers, the kind that grew in the forest where I'd grown up. These weren’t the expensive flowers nobles usually gave. These were simple and beautiful and perfect. They were my favourite. How did he know that? "Percy," I breathed. I didn't think. I just moved forward and threw my arms around him, hugging him tight. He wrapped his free arm around me, holding me close. I could feel his heartbeat against my ch

As the Fake Heiress Rose to Power, the CEO Falls Apart

As the Fake Heiress Rose to Power, the CEO Falls Apart

"Miss Harlow? What are you talking about? She’s going to be the future Mrs. Moore! We should start calling her properly." "Oh, right! Good evening, Mrs. Moore! Sorry for the trouble!" Percy’s friends were quick to adapt, playing their roles well. Yvonne gave a modest nod, satisfied with their respect. But the moment the sound of the woman footsteps reached Percy’s drunken ears, his hazy eyes suddenly snapped open. Through his blurred vision, he saw a graceful figure approaching, her voice soft and patient. "Percy, let’s go home." A familiar and comforting fragrance surrounded him, and without thinking, he assumed it was Stellar who had come to pick him up.

Fifteen Years of Craving The Wrong Love

Fifteen Years of Craving The Wrong Love

my voice comes out hoarse. Anita nods. “Percy brought them.” She say. My brows knit together in confusion. “Percy?” She smiles quietly. “Yes. Percy. He refused to leave until you woke up. Kept asking the nurse every ten minutes if you were opening your eyes yet. He only stepped out when the doctor assured him you were alright.” Something warm settles in my chest. I turn my head slightly and lean closer to the flowers, inhaling their scent. Roses. Lilies. Soft and comforting.

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Patience replied. “We’re missing something for sure,” Elmo said. “Because all of this makes no sense if we go with the ‘witch’s revenge’ angle. What else have we got?” Patience clucked her tongue as she thought. The sounds seemed thick in the speaker. Eventually she came back, “Remember the waiting room, when Beatrice saw Primrose as Lizzy?” “Yes,” Elmo said slowly. “Primrose recited a poem. The same words that Thomas wrote out for Beatrice.”

IMPERFECT Princess

IMPERFECT Princess

I needed just this. "You're enjoying yourself, aren't you?" Princess Naomi's voice preceded her as my eyes caught her standing, hands on her hips, with her eyes locked to me. "Why are you here?" I asked from the pool. "What does he see in you that he cannot see in me? There's nothing unique or amazing about you. You're just a leech who wobbled here to suck his life away, but I'm not about to just sit around and let that happen!"

Red Rose

Red Rose

"I don't want the grape vines to die." I pitied these vines, which seemed worthless to outsiders. I pitied myself too, who seemed worthless to outsiders. At midnight, Kash sent me home. I stood in the yard for a long time. There were many flowers planted here, almost all of which Jeffrey liked. I picked these flowers in turn and packed them. The tulip was planted after Jeffrey saw the wonderful colors it had. The Daisy, representing purity and love, was brought back by Jeffrey after watching a ballet performance. The Sunflower, with its vitality, was given by Jeffrey when he went to the amusement park.

Fatal Perfume

Fatal Perfume

All of a sudden, someone sprang out of the shadows from a corner downstairs and shouted my name. "You've finally returned, Helena. Why have you been shutting me out the past few days? Did I do something wrong? You should tell me so that I can make it right, Helena," Preston said. His eyes held a look of deep sincerity, and the bouquet of roses he carried was eye-catching. I regarded him with unmitigated scorn, but I refused to waste another glance at him. I was truly a fool to have ever fallen for a self-serving piece of trash like him. I certainly wouldn't make the same catastrophic mistake in this life.
