I replied back. While eating, I could not help but look at the other prince that was just across the table. Prince Benedict was reading the newspaper, like a grown up, while he drank coffee. Prince Benedict was just a year younger than me and is the third son of the King and Queen. He was also quite not that with the crowd because of his unwillingness to be King and serve the crown. He was more dedicated to the arts and the King and Queen shows support in that, although the nation does not. They say he may abdicate when the time comes.

She said. I didn’t know that it was the first time in the history of Flousia and they all included me.I honestly don’t know what to think for now. Kyle had broken a lot of traditions to be with me and he didn’t even tell me. Why does he keep on keeping secrets from me? “Who’s the guy earlier?” I asked, again. “It’s Prince Phillip your highness. He’s the crown prince’s cousin. He’s next in line to the throne after Princess Margaret.” She answered.

I tried to argue, but it was no use denying it, my heart raced fast and my ears were like red colts. “It’s ok sis. I would not have traded Prince Philip for Duke Paul Alexander though. But if you found love with the duke, who am I to jugde?” Besides, I think older guys are better.” She winked. “How old is he by the way, fifteen years your senior?” Lily wriggles her eyes. I respond by pinching the bridge of my nose and rolling my eyes. She has always had a thing for mature men.

Her dress was more appropriate for a funeral than an engagement. Then came in the seventh daughter and the baby of the family. Kate was nineteen, the same age as the crown prince and his twin sister Kamilia, but she was born three months after them, and while she was treated like the baby of the family, deep down, the princess hated how Kamilia could do things she would never be allowed to.

The prince had caught her fancy when she had seen him at a royal celebration of a neighboring nation three years ago. She was just 14 and the prince was 17. Since then, she was secretly hoping to be his mate and was waiting impatiently for her birthday which was just a month away. But all her hopes came crashing down when she learned about his mating ceremony two months from now.

The crowd roared and clapped. "I'll just be a sec, darling." He smiled and said to Pearl, leaving her side for only the second time that evening.

“Let’s leave this place.” They got in the car and he drove off immediately. It was faster to get through all the security this time. Edward only managed to relax when the car was on the main road. It had been a very mixed day. Prince Sebastian was a mystery so far. He was definitely nothing like the image he showed in public. Instead of being a charming young man with a nice smile, he came across as more of a sulky teenager. Admittedly he was actually a teenager and had only just turned 18 so it was partially understandable, but he was the heir to the throne, not an average teenager.

For now, I am content with the letters. The downside is that time goes by much faster when exchanging cards. As soon as I realized, Prince was six years old and Lion had reached the age of serving in the army! A very good boy, Lion. From a poor family, ascending to a nobleman and the power never got to his head like many other children like him. (he says, staring strangely at me) Yesterday I received a new letter about the break out of the war. I still remember every single word of it:

"Look, his uncle said he would take the throne until his nephew gets to the age and now, he never returned the throne to him, the boy is past eighteen but he is not sworn in as king. "He have seen that we are his last resort and want to grasp unto us, we can't let that happen," "But he is different, the crown prince could be different" I vouch. "Maybe he has seen how his uncle was and didn't want to be the same way, maybe it could be a good shot, we don't know yet," I continued. "Which of the crown prince was the one who rejected it coldly without giving you a chance?" Alan asked, setting me back..

Yet, it was supposed to happen one way or another. Upon my tantrums, my parents agreed to delay the official deals of the wedding from one year so that time would let us get to know each other. Still, I stubbornly avoided Prince Patrick at all costs. Mostly because he was way older than me, and I saw him as an old man. Prince Patrick was twenty-four while I was only eighteen! For many people, it won't be a huge age gap, but for me. I disliked being with someone whose way older than me because I didn't want to be treated like I was inexperienced and childish. So I was cold toward Prince Patrick at first.
