Princess Beatrice Engaged Ring Novels & Stories

“You looked good in brown hair, but blonde suits you better.” A commotion interrupted us. My parents walked in. I quickly slipped the ring into my finger. “Your majesty,” Rome welcomed them and shook their hands. My mother had a smile from ear to ear, and I could see the happiness in my father’s eyes. “This is gorgeous.” The Queen instantly noticed the ring on my finger, her eyes widening in awe. The engagement ring was a radiant cut four-carat diamond in a platinum band. “Oh, boy. I can’t believe my daughter is getting married.” She wrapped me in her warm embrace.

"Darling, what's wrong? Are you tired from work? Here, let me pour you a drink, and we can talk…" She reached out to touch his face, but he shoved her away with disgust. Just then, Dante noticed the ring on her right ring finger. It was Alessia's engagement ring, the one with her name engraved on the inside. The ring was special. It had supposedly belonged to a couple who were deeply in love; the husband had donated it after his wife's death, hoping it would bring another couple the same profound love. Dante had paid five million dollars for it at auction because he believed it symbolized true, undying love.

Twenty days earlier... LOTTIE I’ve bought him an engagement ring. Was that a mistake? I mean, it’s not a girly ring. It’s a plain band with a tiny diamond in it, which the guy in the shop talked me into. If Richard doesn’t like the diamond, he can always turn it round. Or not wear it at all. Keep it on his nightstand or in a box or whatever.

Then Dowager empress Avon came forward to ease the atmosphere and said, "I welcome all of the royals, aristocrats and nobles in the royal palace for attending his highness's engagement. Please give them your best wishes and blessings. Now, let's start the engagement." After that Rince Satchell gave King Raleigh a small diamond ring and lady Blaine also got a diamond ring from her mother. They both exchanged rings. All of the guests stood up and clapped and cheered. Ives was also clapping and smiling trying his best to control his tears which were about to fall from his eyes. His highness finally got claimed by another woman. Prince Satchell was sad seeing Ives smiling in pain as he knew Ives

Dominic’s side of the bed is empty. He’s gone. For a brief moment, I wonder if I did dream it all up last night. If my mind had somehow created the perfect hallucination of him finally coming home to me because I needed something to soothe me through the night. But then I feel it. Something cool and oddly weighty around my finger. Glancing down, I freeze at what I see resting there on my ring finger. A ring. Not just any ring. An engagement ring. Delicate, vintage. White gold braided around a center stone that catches the morning light like fire trapped in crystal. Small diamonds arch around the main sapphire like a crown.

Things had gone haywire, nothing had been left behind of him. I glanced down at my wedding dress- different from the one I had chosen to marry Diego in. My jewelry, shoes...my wedding ring. He thought of everything and erased every single speck of my former fiance on me. I stared down at the rings on my finger- my engagement ring was a baby blue colored, heart cut and shaped, 2.5 Carat diamond with a rose-gold band that was equally surrounded by diamonds which was paired with an equally diamond encrusted-gold wedding band that shimmered under the bathroom lights.

I should be the one to be proposed to by Dave not her. "This was in fact not a dinner party per se but an engagement party." He beamed and she got up, faking some tears. "Please say yes. I know there's a lot going on in our lives now…" The bitch covered his mouth and pulled him unto his feet in tears. Did I hear him say they're expecting? I craned my neck to look at the ring and gasped. What the fuck! It's a goddamned diamond, worth like 100 carats. And what? It's the latest customized design from MD jewelry for VIPs.

"Hmph. Useless, lazy, and still no baby after all these years. But taking million-dollar gifts? That you're good at," my mother-in-law, Victoria Grant, said this with her lips puckered as if she'd caught a foul smell. Lucas Reed—my husband—had just slid a five-carat diamond ring onto my finger when she cut in. A strange chill ran through me. My hand, whole and unbroken, rested in front of me as if nothing had ever happened.

I said to him and while I saw the smirk on Beck's face stay, the smile didn't reach his eyes. “You okay?” I asked, him drumming against the seat next to me asking him to sit. “Yup. I got you something.” He said casually. “Really what is it this time, my rich friend, a ticket to Beyonce's concert?” I asked. “No, would you like that?” He asked and I shook my head. “I'm just messing with you. I-” Before I could say anything else, he took my hand in his slid a ring, with the daintiest solitaire, in my left finger. It looked majestic.

Beatrice chimed in, confusion evident in her voice, unaware that Allison and she were talking about different things. I wanted to cover Allison's mouth, but she held my hand firmly and looked at Beatrice. "No, Mom. Alton proposed to Solana." I wanted to run away when Allison said that because she completely misunderstood the true meaning of the ring. Beatrice looked at me, and then her eyes focused on my hand, so I quickly hid it behind my back. "You're engaged?" she asked, shock evident in her tone. "It's not like that. It's some sort of promise ring. I'm not engaged... It's complicated," I explained.
