She's looking for a playmate," he said hoarsely, pressing his lips to her neck. "Who's Summer?" She almost apologized for the question. Gideon sighed, stroked her waist twice, and put his hand back on her belly. "Can't you remember her?" he asked, and she hesitated before shaking her head.

The rich never apologized. One week had gone by, and Summer no longer saw herself as Merina the MacGregor Heiress, but as a simple middle-class person named Summer O’Neil. Funny how she felt happy without family on her mind.

The line rang for a while before Heather finally picked up, her voice groggy and annoyed. "Who is this?" "Hi, Heather. It's me, Destiny," she said, attempting a sugary tone.
