Slowly, I step closer, drawn to the book despite the voice in my head that is telling me to move back. The symbols I saw earlier on the book are protection runes and from what I know about them, those symbols also serve as warnings to those who might attempt to open the book without being prepared. Now close to the book, I reach out and touch the cover. It is cold under my fingers. “What’s inside the book?” I ask.

No one deserves to wield such great power, especially not monsters. “The book is enchanted…it can’t burn or physically get damaged, it protects itself so ease up with all of the threats. Hand the book back to me ,blood clocks its power and makes it harder for monsters to track it. More monsters are coming for it and some are already around the forest just like the one that burnt up the bus full of humans just to get the book. You have no idea what you are messing with doll face…now hand it over ,” “We have to find Freya,”

Cara returned holding a gigantic book and she found Amelia still rooted to her spot. This showed just how afraid she was of everything. “Relax, I was just kidding,” she told Amelia and if looks could kill Cara would have died on the spot with the glare Amelia gave her. Why would she joke about something like that? Cara walked over to a table and she put the book she had found down. “What do you need such a gigantic book for?" Amelia asked as she walked up to her. “Protectors were highly secretive people but some of your secrets got out and we are going to be reading one today,” Cara answered.

Because protection is one thing. But this? This feels dangerously close to control.
