Orora began her chanting. I heard a hiss coming from the wall. 'Spider attack, huh? That's the best you've got?' I sneered. Alaric once trained me in the realm and taught me about their different moves. This one was the so-called spider attack. I squinted my eyes and focused all of my wolf senses on his stinky scent and breathing. He had been here for a long time. The starvation and lack of oxygen inside had affected his breathing. He was too loud!

His features were twisted in a snarl, revealing sharp canines and a cruel grin. His wolf! I let out a sharp gasp, as I saw my life hanging by a thread. Kaiden's voice was a low, menacing growl, his words dripping with venom and pain, as he pulled my arms. Only then did I notice that, in place of human hands, he had claws instead. It was digging into my skin drawing blood, as he continued shaking me furiously.

"I don't have time to think of this, it's still heading towards me, what should I do?" Natsu couldn't really see the spider, but its glowing red eyes helped him know its exact location. As Natsu was thinking, the spider continued looking around, as it began heading towards him slowly. It got close to Natsu and made a weird loud noise which made Natsu clothes to move as Natsu heart began racing. "Water spear" the girl shouted as water flew towards the spider, the spider turned back and faced her with anger. "I'm doomed! But at least I can help him escape"

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

I looked down at my skin and it seemed to shimmer, capturing a hidden sun within me. I startled when I saw my parents, frozen in fear. My mother knelt, hands folded, while my father crouched protectively beside her. Their eyes were hypnotized, staring at the full glowing moon as it peeked from behind the clouds. With each passing second, it grew larger, pulsing like a heartbeat, a voice of anger in its glow. Then I saw her—Tara. She stood at the edge of the tree line in her wolf form, growling, teeth bared, eyes burning with pure hatred. I tried to scream, but my voice wouldn’t form. I struggled to my feet, panicked.

Was this creature really invincible? By this point, the spider had gotten fed up with Walter’s attacks! With that, it took aim at Walter’s chest before simultaneously launching its corpse flame, web, and pincers! Naturally, the now flustered Walter immediately tried to dodge the attack. Unfortunately, he ended up getting slammed by one of the beast’s pincers, resulting in the middle-aged man getting flung against a wall! The impact was so great that there was now a crater where Walter had collided!

And when a shadow brushed a warrior— The warrior screamed, dropped to the ground, and writhed as black spiderweb veins crawled up their leg. Lily whimpered, stepping closer until she was almost climbing my back. “Joha…” “I know,” I whispered, voice cracking. This wasn’t a corrupted guardian. This wasn’t a beast.

"To hell with you!" This time, the woman atop the spider trembled with fear as if she had run into a powerful enemy. The halberd fell from mid-air, giving the woman no chance to react as it struck her body and split her clean into two as the spider's body was bisected as well. The spider's legs were blasted to bits and scattered on the ground. Tracy walked over with a smile. "You seemed to have learned something new, Mister Penn." "Yep. I think I've found a special energy."
