Bonnie and Joan rushed in wearing jeans, women’s t-shirts, sneakers, and warm coats which they tossed on the floor, distracted by what was going on in the kitchen. Elliott followed them in and picked up the discarded items, throwing them over his arm. Bonnie took her place beside Nate, gripping his hand. Joan covered her mouth, taking in the shocking sight. “I’m the only one in a suit,” joked Darrell. “I overdressed for my shooting.”

They should be. They exchanged a glance and without saying anything, they waited until they were inside to hop out of the car, weapons in hand. It had been ten minutes since they had been inside, two men returned to the front door after a while. One of the men spotted them. His teeth gritted, roiling fingers reaching for his weapon. "Not so fast buddy. Drop it." Bonnie tightened her hold on her gun, as soon as he lowered his gun, she capped him twice in the stomach and he rolled to the floor.

“Yeah, I guess we do need to refortify our defenses before we see him. How about we go tomorrow morning? I have several things to take care of for the Confradia and new assignment lists to sort through before I disperse them to you and the others. How was your last mission? What were their names? Bonnie and Clyde?” This time he does get a genuine smile from me. “You were close. It was Bonnie and Dalton. Things were messy but fine. They were horrid people. Did you know they had a pool in the middle of their torture chamber filled with Pirhanas? It was bloody awful. I was going to drown them, but before I could, those creatures devoured them like a Sunday Roast. I had to shoot them in the head

I don’t move looking at him and I show him my best smirk. “You can try, but mark my words, I will get Bonnie away from you before you even have a chance to blink, and you better cover your neck, the lipstick mark is very visible,” I say and his eyes grow wider as I watch him rub his neck and looking at his hand that is now pink as he smudged the lipstick. “I hope the strippers were good enough, because you will live off them after I get Bonnie to dump your miserable ass,” I say and he tries to swing at me but his drunk ass misses as I move slightly to the side and he falls on his ass.
