I nod lightly, using the nightstand to shift my weight to my hand as I straighten on my feet. Oh, God… I inhale sharply, clenching my eyes shut as a string of sharp pains shoot down my leg, paralyzing me where I stand. I try to take deep and even breaths, exhaling slowly as the pain diminishes. When my eyelids flicker open, I watch as Bubbles moves to me, wagging his tail excitingly. “Hi buddy,” I speak softly, petting the top of his head as he sits and looks up at me with dilated pupils. “Oh, you’re the cutest boy I know!” I giggle softly as I squeeze his soft, floppy ears, a small smile on my face.

ELISHA’S POV I slid the leash around Bubblegum’s neck as she wagged, tail swishing like a metronome. “There we go, baby girl.” I stood and turned to Robert. “Where to now?” “Hmm… aquarium?” he asked. “They might not allow pets… how about a park instead?” “No, I actually found one that does allow small dogs. It’s called Blue Escape.” Bubblegum gave a hopeful bark. “Seems like she likes it,” I said.

The barking of the dogs was so loud because a stranger had come to the place. Bli Ketut Suryapramita took from the cage a 4-month-old puppy who was still fluffy and white and was fat, so calm in temperament. He handed the adorable puppy into JC's arms. "It's called Spice Girl, isn't it cute?" said Bli Ketut Suryapramita. JC lifted the puppy into the air a few times while bursting into laughter. "Oohh she's very cute and calm, my girlfriend will like her, Bli. Are the vaccinations complete?" he said.

She smiled. Parker leaned closer to her, giving her a warm kiss on her lips. This was the best moment for the both of them and they wouldn't have it any other way. "Thank you for sticking with me all through. I love you and I don't think I'll get tired of saying that." Parker laughed. "Better because I'll never get tired of hearing that. I love you my big baby." Amanda smiled. Just then, Jamie pranced into the living room in her anger form. That was just she loved doing and they couldn't complain anymore.

Hot tub, here I come! It was already filled to the top, bubbles silently popping as I stuck my dirty legs inside. Playing with the puppies had gotten me way too dirty. I wonder if they could come inside? I’d love to cuddle one while I sleep. Maybe I could ask. “Are you alright in there?” Loki banged on the door. “Aren’t you coming back out and tell me good night?” I snorted, blowing a gigantic pile of bubbles away from my face. “I’m in the tub. I’ll come to tell you good night when I’m done!” Giggling, I stuck my head under the water, coming up with a massive bubble hairdo. I should have left home a lot sooner if I had known the Underworld was so much fun.

Xander greeted him, his voice filled with warmth and love. Amidst the excitement, Alex couldn’t help but whine, “Where’s my gift?” With a smile, Xander instructed him to close his eyes. He presented Alex with a gift basket. Curiosity piqued, Alex opened it, discovering a white puppy inside. “Mom, a puppy!” Alex exclaimed, bubbling with joy. It was the best birthday gift he could have imagined. Tears of happiness filled his eyes as he hugged him tightly. Xander, holding in his arms, closed his eyes, savoring the moment of connection.

Sasha gasped when the moment the words left Bosco’s lips, a dozen puppies were immediately awake and bounding towards them. They surrounded the trio, yanking on pantlegs, pulling shoelaces, and yipping and yapping at them. “They’re instantly awake,” she giggled unable to stop herself. Rin scooped a puppy up in his hands, the round wiggling belly fitting in his palm and he laughed as he let the dog lick his face enthusiastically. “Which one are you keeping, Bosco?”
