Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

he smirked and lifted his hands where they could see before bringing them back down to rest by his sides. “That’s impossible.” Syrana shook her head. “She is no immortal, Syrana, she is an inexperienced Khione. and can die just as easily as any human,” he smirked and paced sideways. “Sad thing is that she died with his child growing inside of her, and without any knowledge of it.” “Whose child growing inside of her?” Iris asked and Pythias faced her, in mockery, he replied to her. “Whose child would it be, if not Ryder’s?”

Fire and Water

Fire and Water

James flicked his eyes back and forth between Eliza and Blakeney as the man paused dramatically. “Thetis,” said Blakeney, grandly. “She is a goddess of the sea. A lieutenant of sorts to Poseidon, but more commonly associated with calm and tranquil waters.” “That’s right,” he said, remembrance flooding to him. “Achilles was her most famous son.” Blakeney nodded proudly at his pupil. “Correct.”

Mr. Wolfy and His Siren Mate

Mr. Wolfy and His Siren Mate

"I think we'll go together. I won't give the ordinate point to anyone because I'll find it first." "Even to me?" "Yes, even to you." "So you already know Lyra's whereabouts?" asked Max, confirming. "Then you won't share it with me?" "I know, just a point, and I haven't confirmed it yet. That's why I can't guarantee it. I have to check first if the point I've gotten is the right one." Max smiled at his wife's words, which were unique to him. Ivory was no longer an innocent silver-haired girl. She was a descendant of Poseidon, who ruled the seas and had extraordinary abilities. It's just that she doesn't want to show it to anyone.

Bloodbound Destiny

Bloodbound Destiny

Seraphina stiffened, and looked at Tristan for confirmation, but I scarcely caught the exchange. My eyes burned and I blinked rapidly, every fantasy I’d ever had blowing up in smoke. My name is Andronika, Derick’s daughter. Pray to Freyja, Andronika. For having been born under the blood moon,it is in the hands of the gods as to whether you will recover from Thor's fire. Seraphina looked to Luna Lyra. “Make an offering to Eir. A goat should be enough, but you must do it yourself.” Luna Lyra’s mouth twisted, but she said nothing, merely bowed and departed, shrieking at the servants beyond. “That should keep her busy for a time.”

Lyra Lupine
Andronika's story touches the heart! Torn between her duty to see to the comfort of her family and the need to seek her own happiness, she is thrust into danger: fight to the death with a godlike warrior. In the face of death, she took her destiny and in her hands and fought! This is a great story!
Orion Steele
I think author Lorene is charming. This is her first book am reading though, but the way she introduced the characters: Carspey, Andronika, Tristan, Derek, Orion—its all too fascinating. Am still reading, but Andronika already deserves my Oscar award for raising her weapons onto Tristan...

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

Her head was nearly resting against my shoulder. I don’t know what Eugenius and my father are up to. But I will protect you, Ismene-Eirene. “They are the Pompeius family of Lerna. They use the hydra as their family symbol. There are always five. Like the mythical creature, they cannot be killed by ordinary means. Their heads must be removed with either, and I’m rusty on this part, an enchanted fire sword or an enchanted golden sword of Athena.” I sighed. “That's at least the myth of the family. The only facts that I know for sure are the name, there's always five, and they are mercenaries who never fail." I explained.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!

GAME OF ALPHAS

GAME OF ALPHAS

“Now, tell me who you are.” Her back straightened as she stared deep into Esra’s familiar eyes, the fear in her bones fading. “I—I… I am Pyra Blackwood.” Esra’s smile widened, her crimson eyes glinting with approval. The mist around them pulsed, swirling faster as if echoing Rhaella’s newfound resolve. It shifted, the large crimson moon hanging from above.
