After checking and making sure that no one would be able to hear what she was about to say, she responded to the woman. "Yes I am. You must be one of the irrelevant people my fiance talked about. Looks like he was right about you," she retorted.

She remembered how she'd disappeared at the last party she went to with Harrison but August won't hurt anymore, he was nowhere to be found. She quickly made a U-turn, deciding to leave as soon as possible. It must be a trap. As she held the doorknob, she heard a tiny pretty voice, "Eleanor. I've been waiting for you." Eleanor turned back and saw a pale beautiful woman. Judging from the silky elegant dress she was putting on, we could say she was Queen Charlotte. A car horn honked outside. Charlotte peeked through the curtain. “Ohhh he’s here. He’s driving some black fancy-looking thing. I don’t know the model but the vibes are wealthy.” My stomach twisted. “I can’t go.” “Yes you can.” She grabbed my face gently. “Breathe. You’re not marrying him. You’re just going to eat overpriced sea creatures for ninety minutes. You’ll survive.” She dragged me toward the door. “Charlotte, wait” “Nope!” She shoved me outside. “Have fun! Text me if he tries to kidnap you!”

Asheron replies then looks at me " Don't give up on Charlotte. She really likes you but like always she is being stubborn over here and coming on her own way." " I know. I figured that much out." I replied " Don't worry. I am not going to let her go. I am going to marry this woman, make her my queen and make her the mother of my children in no time. She wants to avoid me, run away from me. She actually reminded me of the image the goddess chose to show herself in.

Charlotte stood up and searched for a black dress that she would use for Amoux's wedding. “I'm sorry, honey! I couldn't stop myself. Why don't we mark each other yet?
