Rachel arrived in person hours later, trench coat dripping from Geneva’s rain, hair pinned into a no-nonsense bun. “This isn’t exile,” she said. “It’s elevation. The Tribunal sees your impact, but they want to separate it from emotional legacy. From Mary. From Vault. From fire.” Sophie sipped her tea, staring out the window. “What if Phoenix is still my breath?” Rachel leaned forward. “Then they’re asking you to exhale. One final time.” Meanwhile, Camellia was seated in a studio chair, nerves dancing beneath her skin. She was live on Oslo’s largest civic ethics program, a show titled The Human Code.

•••••• RACHEL 12:57am and he isn’t here. I had woken up and was standing behind the window. Rachel stood her ground and challenged him. This time, Logan was rendered speechless. "Ha! Can't cough up the cash, huh, Mr. Heir?" Rachel jeered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "If you can't back up your claims, then why don't you just come with me and sell waffles for an honest living? Quit indulging in your delusional fantasies."

she requested of Rachel. "Bad enough that we have a better chance of fighting our way free than seeing freedom before dying in prison," Rachel answered calmly. "Hmmm...Rachel, if something like that happened...how many parachutes do we have?" Delilah joined in. "Enough. Mona rides down with Cael because he's a virgin," Rachel stated. "Oh! Come on Rachel," I fell down on my knees. "Can't I bungee jump it?" "Luv," Delilah snorted. "If the drop didn't kill ya, the bounce back would snap you in two."

"She knows, Joseph. She knows I’m poor. She knows I was desperate. She’s going to tell your grandmother that you bought me." "She knows nothing but gossip," Joseph said. They play with secrets because they have no power of their own. You have me." "But it’s a lie!" Rachel cried softly, tears pricking her eyes. "This whole night is a silent bargain. How can I stand out there when the woman who denied me money for my brother is laughing at me?"

she whispered " Well I'll be waiting to hear you sing for me" she added with a smirk "Too bad I didn't come prepared so I won't be performing" Nirvana said and Rachel frown "Of course you will for the fact you got to enter the president's resident for the first time in your life" Rachel mocked and one could tell she was trying to get on Nirvana's nerves but Nirvana chuckled instead "You call this a house? your entire house is nothing compared to my parents bedroom" she smirk and Rachel fumed.
