I pretend to be in the dark. “The Blood Moon Hybrid,” Rachel lets out a delighted laugh. “I was brought on because of her, you know. But the Director never told me what she was exactly. I just pieced things together. It wasn’t that hard. The girl is ridiculously strong, but her powers are not all there. See this?” She points to the eye patch she’s been wearing ever since I saw her this time. “She did this to me.” The look in Rachel’s other eye borders on insanity. “An eye for an eye, right? I’m going to gauge hers out too. Make her scream as I do.”

Ella thought for a moment and then said, "Are you talking about Rachel?" "Rachel? Who's that?" Henry asked eagerly. Ella replied, "Rachel is a new teaching assistant who just graduated from Oaklynn University. She is doing an internship at our school." Henry asked, "How did Charmaine get into a conflict with Rachel? Tell me the details." Henry completely pushed Charmaine out of his mind, his eyes fixed on Ella as he asked. Henry had deeply set eyes. When he looked at people, it often gave them the illusion that he was very affectionate.

Something had to be done. Rachel was waiting with a bright smile for them. “Hi, Bonnie! Thank you for coming to sit with us.” She said, then gestured to the dark-haired girl with her. “This is Molly and I’m Miss Rachel.” Molly stood excitedly. “Hello! Do you want to read with me?” Bonnie nodded tentatively and joined her on the bench. The teachers stood aside, chatting quietly as Molly pointed to different things in her book. “I like your earrings.” Bonnie said shyly.

A few seconds later, Kiara was still staring at her with her lips sealed to say a word; the young lady tried to comprehend the mute sadness of sister Mary. The heavy feeling of her constant gaze rose to a panic in the old lady and she licked her lips, looking here and there. To avoid any possible questionnaire from Kiara, she drifted her eyes to Rachel and asked politely, “So, what do you do, child?” Her lips twitched into a hesitant smile. Rachel smiled in response before answering. “I’m a head accountant at an organic product-based company, Ally Natures.” Her reply made the lady smile back at her with a positive nod.

The teacher said. Rachel ignored it and discussed other matters with the teacher as she walked out of the school, two hefty Betas following them as she went. “Ashley.” Rachel turned and saw a little girl with blonde hair and so beautiful she was shocked. “Ashley come here.” The teacher prodded. Ashley walked up to them. “This is Luna Rachel. She is the Luna of our pack and this community.” The teacher said. Ashley looked up at her and gave a smile. “Hello.”
