You Are Mine, Little Sister

Though, she kept a polite front. "Um..." Her teeth caught her lower lip, an unconscious act as her eyes scanned the shelf. I looked at her lips longer than I should have, and my mouth went dry. "These series are actually my favorites." She pointed to a stack. "The Ravenhood Trilogy by Kate Stewart. T—They were so good I read them in two days. T—These are good as well." She went ahead to point at three more series. That was fifteen books in total. She fumbled through the motion, all nerves and uncertainty.

Being Yours

Being Yours

Or had there been a struggle? Rachel stepped past him, carefully avoiding a collection of discarded shoes and a stack of books with titles like The Tao of Meow and The Heart of Yoga. She crossed to the window and touched the collage of wilting plants on the sill. Shadows bruised her face, deepening her high cheekbones, making her look small and haunted. Not liking the effect, he switched on the light in the breakfast nook. He watched her gaze roam over the room, her eyes narrowed and troubled. It amazed him that the two women were related. They’d lived through the same experiences, suffered the same losses and fears, yet were black and white, as opposite as two people could be. Rachel was th

So read up on book one! If you are all caught up on my books I have a few authors I will always recommend: Alle, J Tarr, Allie Carstens and Emma Taylor! All four of these authors have fun and original ideas that always blow me away. Join my group online called Miri’s Shifter Cafe for updates on my work, more about me and characters! (I can’t name where the group is but it starts with “Face” and ends with “book”) Until the next journey, all my love <3

Miri is back again! This time with a lovable strong unconventional female lead. Tilly is funny and sassy and in some ways relatable. As she always does it’s an original setting and storyline. Looking forward to the updates and to see how this goes. Because this is going to be hilarious at times.

Awesome, underrated book. So happy I took a chance on this. Well plotted storyline, with crazy twists, great humor, drama, action, gore & steamy heat. Well developed characters. Minimal typos so still easy reading flow. Love how Tilly has so much crazy sassiness despite how dark done parts became.

A Writer's Love: You and I

A Writer's Love: You and I

Raquel's POV Where do writers get their inspiration? This is the most common question I have been asked for years. I am Raquel Peterson, one of the bestselling authors of romance novels. I am not in a relationship with anyone so people are puzzled where I get my inspirations. I had my first book published when I was twenty and since then I have twelve more books published. I may have found what the readers love and I was able to create a fantasy that they all fall for. My books weren’t merely on paper but were made into movies and TV series.

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

The afternoon sunlight streamed through large windows, casting long shadows across the floor. Strange. This morning, I arrived feeling like a lost kid. Now I was walking with a steadier pace. Maybe because I wasn’t alone. “So heading straight home?” I asked, trying to sound casual. Rachel shook her head slightly. “I don’t think so. I’m going to the library first.” “Seriously? Studious on day one already?” She smiled faintly. “Not studious. The lecturer already assigned a summary. I don’t want it piling up.”

Thank you for the book. I was confused by the number of days left but it’s okay. I truly hope that she doesn’t give him a second chance. He doesn’t even care in the least. She deserves to find someone who treats her like a queen. I’m not against second chances but some people don’t deserve them

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

What could it hurt, after all? "I am a Reaver," I purred, my voice low and smooth. Roxy's eyes widened, a flicker of surprise dancing across her face. I was certain she had stumbled upon the chapters detailing my kind in the book she'd been reading. Three entire chapters were devoted to Reavers, and they were nestled near the beginning of the book. Given that she was now halfway through, I assumed she had already devoured those particular pages.

Norbert's Tales

Norbert's Tales

That must have been the reason she was friendly to Rachel. Rachel grinned as she got her library pass from her. "Morning sleeps are the worst kind of career annihilators." She could hear Mrs Wickham laugh softly as she walked past, scanning the large, beautiful library for her favorite spot to slide into. The library was spacious and well equipped with books upon books. Illuminated with florescent lights, cooled by air conditioners, and monitored by CCTV's. She zoomed past a few students into the hallway of bookshelves. Running her hands unconsciously on the well stacked books, she walked through the spaces between the giant bookshelves.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

Albeit, slowly, it didn’t even make a single sound. My mind instantly trailed back to the book I had previously read in the pack library. ‘There are 4 Reavers that rule the Underworld.’ Raphael was one of the names in the book. I was snapped from my thoughts when I looked up and found myself face to face with an eerily gorgeous man.

Rachel's Wolf

"We also know, that when they issue dire warnings, sometimes they come true. Have you been back to the asylum again?" "No, "Rachel answered, averting her eyes. "I haven't had the time. " Which was a complete lie of course. Now that her work schedule was hardly packed, she spent her evenings watching Brazilian telenovelas on cable. She didn't want to risk running into Galen Munroe and feeling the desire he awakened in her. What she sensed from him that night, was something so rare, so precious, that she almost wanted it to remain in her mind as her fondest memory. A once off meeting had opened her heart, to a man she barely knew.

She picked up many books individually and made a pile of them. "When will you read so many books?" Nina asked surprisingly. "When your boss is not around," Elaina winked and started looking for books again. She picked up books from famous authors like Jane Austin, Sarah, Colleen Hoover, and Anna Huang. Nina shook her head and made her way toward the exit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Alright—if you mean the Rachel Morgan books by Kim Harrison (the one with the witch/bounty-hunter vibe), here’s how I read them and how I’d recommend you do it. Start with the core novels in publication order: 'Dead Witch Walking', 'The Good, the Bad, and the Undead', 'Every Which Way But Dead', 'A Fistful of Charms', 'For a Few Demons More', 'The Outlaw Demon Wails', 'White Witch, Black Curse', 'Black Magic Sanction', 'Pale Demon', 'A Perfect Blood', 'Ever After', and finish with 'The Witch With No Name'.

I like reading novellas and short stories after the novel that comes before them in publication order—many of the little Hollows shorts slot nicely between the big books and fill in character beats. If you prefer a slightly fluffier experience, read the short stories immediately after the book they reference; if you want to avoid any possible spoilers, finish the main novels first and then go back to the side pieces. I also keep a bookmarked list from the author site and a Goodreads shelf so I can track where each extra story fits. This series is a ride—epic friendships, messy moral choices, and a soundtrack of snark—so savor the pacing and let the world-building sink in.
