Bite-Size Luna
I tell her as I come to a standstill in front of my little oasis.
Just down the river on my territory is a stunning, small waterfall. The water rushing down from the rocks is moving so fast it looks like white mist as it travels down the jagged rocks and boulders. In the light of the moon, the water looks luminescent, and the moss-covered rocks and boulders look like giant emerald gemstones. There’s no magic in this place, and yet it’s the most magical-looking thing I’ve ever seen.
I watch as Sorrell carefully steps forward, her golden hair glowing in the moonlight as she takes in the sight before her.
