Rising Of The Luna

Rising Of The Luna

I closed my eyes and summoned courage and tried to pick up the sword but it was quite heavy hence making it difficult to pick up. “She is of no use” He rolled his eyes at Beta Elvis. “She is just a child” Elvis smiled at him. “Give her time. This is just her first time. With time, she will get better, your Highness" He bowed. Aside from Mother, he seemed to be the only one who could reply to Father without being scared of the outcome. “You think so?” He smirked as he watched me still struggling with the sword. “I know. Your Highness, even if it is not so, we have to believe in her and keep our hopes high. We have no choice. We have to start preparing her” Elvis added, again, with a bow.

The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

Heath replied with disapproval. “Occasionally, that is true,” Talen fed Aislen another mouthful fluidly. “And yet, would anyone’s lives be what they are if not for the heroes willing to risk their own lives for the betterment of all? The world needs heroes. We all need heroes. Sometimes it is simply not enough to just survive. Sometimes there is a call to arms, and we all must answer, or none will survive.”

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

ECHOES OF THE PAST

ECHOES OF THE PAST

"Your sacrifice was brave but misguided. You thought trading yourself for your aunt would solve everything instead, you've delivered both yourself and your lover to my research program. That's the problem with heroes, Aria. You're so focused on individual salvation that you miss the larger strategies at play."

Witch of the Throne

Witch of the Throne

The worst thing; no one from heaven descended to aid them this time. After a decade of hopelessness and complete surrender, Heroes rose from various origins—holding on to their own intentions. They, who dared to scream in the middle of the conjurers' blissful singing, dared to steal the scripture from the wicked creatures who were granted the power to overwrite their destinies — concluded themselves victorious thereon.

The Supernaturals

Ella shouted recognizing him, then ran to hug him and he started changing back to human abstracting the rest. "Thank God you are safe," Ella said but heard nothing from Eddie, she pulled out from the hug and all was surprised as Eddie had already passed out. Tough times never last, only tough people do. A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight. Remember your dreams and fight for them. The Real Heroine Logs In

The Real Heroine Logs In

She nodded again and again, taking the badge with both hands, her voice breaking. "Thank you, Eleanor. Thank you!" The comments exploded again–this time in gold. [Damn! That level of grace; insane!] [This is what a true female lead looks like–lifting someone out of the abyss instead of holding a grudge!] [Girls help girls! I'm calling it–this is the most hype esports story of the year!] [Orion team, let's go! Win the championship for Janet, too!]

Bound by Sin: The Heir & His Stepmother

Bound by Sin: The Heir & His Stepmother

How does one explain the rotten complexity of war, guilt, and survival to a child? “August…” I said, my voice softer than I knew I was capable of. “Sometimes, being a hero isn’t about never being afraid or never… hesitating.” The word burned on my tongue. “It’s about what you do afterward. It’s about protecting the people you love, no matter the cost. It’s about getting back up when you fall.” He looked at me, his eyes serious, scanning my face for the truth. “So… you would protect Mommy and me?” he asked, his voice a whisper full of hope.

Alpha Rising: From Outcast to Empire

Alpha Rising: From Outcast to Empire

"She's run away from the pack before, hasn't she? And didn't she always come crawling back?" "She'll come back this time too. Once she's suffered enough." "And anyway… with her injuries, she won't survive long without the healing herbs we gave her…" He kept talking to himself like he was trying to convince someone—anyone—that everything was fine. That I would come back. That this was just another challenge. But his voice shook. His eyes were wet. He didn't even realize it. Xina, still basking in the glow of her perfect mating day, didn't notice the atmosphere shifting. She added more fuel to the fire:

Rise of the Phoenix

Rise of the Phoenix

***This is Book Six of the Elemental Dragon series. References will be made to events that happened in previous books without being fully explained here. While this book can be read as a standalone, it is recommended that you read the series, starting with The Arena.*** Every time I’m called to rise, I choose a human who is worthy. One whose heart is pure. One who is kind and loving. One who values the lives of others and is willing to give their lives to protect those around them. It has to be a human with these attributes because, while I always rise again, my humans do not.

Cooper truly never misses. Each story genuinely is better than the last, with each story truly being amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Emmi & Ajax’s story and the creativity/thoughtfulness that went into writing it. So excited for Kenna/Yhens story, finally! As always, amazing job, author! :)

I found The Elemental Dragons and first fell in love with the first book and Tana in The Arena and then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and waiting on Kenna to come of age and be claimed ... But I love the series, the characters, the plots and the surprises. Thank you for sharing with all us ...️ ... ......

Raising Your Brat, Round Two

Raising Your Brat, Round Two

*** One night, I got home and caught Eric whispering to Luca: "When you see Dakota, smile and call her Mom. Then hit her with the 'I wanna be a child star' bit, got it? And if that flops—turn on the cute. She eats it up." "I don't wanna suck up to that old witch!" "Do it! She's your ticket to fame. Your mom and grandparents are counting on you to make life good for them." Dream on. Eric had no idea what kind of kid he was raising. As soon as I walked in, Luca bolted toward me, arms wide. "Mom! Mom! I missed you soooo much!" He latched on. "Mom, I wanna be famous! I want nice clothes! Can you help me?"
