This world is horrid, so if you are reading my tale remember that everything is a lie. Nothing is true and manipulation is key. Perfect is not a word we use because it is not true. When I was younger I wanted to explore the world, now all I want to do is have my next meal without puking. I am Rapunzel, who never left her tower. Or for me, my castle. Yes I have social interaction, but that's not the same and with my weight it makes me want to die.

Rapunzel was my favorite fairy tale in childhood. Part of my stupid innocence believed that there was nothing more beautiful than waiting for years until true love was able to find me. On the long-awaited day, I would certainly be combing my hair in front of a mirror adorned with ivory, and when my prince reached me in the highest tower of a forgotten castle, his golden hair would shine with the purest gold color. He would save me from that incessant wait and, taking me in his arms with all the care with which a flower is harvested, he would gallop us on his white horse among the endless lawns and plains.

And exhausted. Of course, she did. She had spent two weeks in the hospital with barely enough strength to take care of herself. If not for the nurses helping her take a walk, a bath, and comb her hair whenever they turned into a nest, she wasn’t sure she would have walked out of that building with her sanity intact. She shook her head, dismissing the thought. Those were among the most depressing days of her life, and even though she wanted to remember them so she wouldn’t fall back into her previous routine of pleasing everyone, she didn’t want to think about them all the time either.

Look outside Willow appeared in the window and her face lit up when she saw me. “Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your long hair!” I whispered. She laughed and pointed to the trellis next to her window. I hoped it wouldn’t break. I climbed up and Willow helped me into the room. “What are you doing?” She asked in a low voice. “I needed to see you. I miss you baby.” I kissed her. “Besides, I was promised some amazing last day of being twenty-one sex.”
