Kane comments from the bathroom. They currently have me sitting at the vanity while Eryn has come in to do my makeup. Kyra let me borrow one of her dresses. She is the closest in height to me. I stand at 4’11” and she is 5’1” plus she is the same size as me. It is a gorgeous red dress that she paired with black wedge heels. They left my long curly hair down and partially pulled it back from my face. “If he doesn’t like this dress is a fucking moron,” Eryn says,

It was probably just for Kaleb’s sake, but I didn’t mind it anyway. Suddenly, I heard a cheerful voice call to me, and I turned to see it was Raven. Her hair was shiny and fell in perfect waves to her shoulders, while her tall, elegant frame was highlighted by a tight, burgundy silk dress. It was low cut, but her chest was modest enough not to show too much. Her full lips had been painted dark red, and at once, I thought of Adalyn, though Raven somehow looked much more lovely. “Hi Cassandra,” Raven gushed as she reached me, and she gave me a big hug. “I knew he would bring you here.”

Raven’s POV My chambers was silent, yet the weight of unseen eyes pressed against me. Shadows stretched unnaturally along the cold stone floor, moving as if they had a will of their own. The air was thick, suffocating, carrying the distant whispers of something I couldn’t quite hear. I stood in the center of it all, my pulse steady, my breath even. Yet, there was a presence in the darkness—something watching. Then, she appeared. Elara. She emerged from the shadows, her silver eyes glowing like twin moons. Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing a face that radiated power. She was dressed in flowing white, yet there was nothing delicate about her.

“Make yourself comfortable.” My fingers trembled as I removed my cardigan. I’d worn a loose tank top like the consultation email instructed. My stomach was a knot of nerves and something dangerously close to excitement. When the curtain parted, she emerged. Raven Black. She was even more striking in person. Tall, confident, covered in intricate blackwork tattoos that climbed her neck and disappeared beneath her tank top. Silver piercings glinted on her eyebrow, septum, and full lower lip. Her dark hair was shaved on one side, the rest falling in waves.

"She was tall and slender, almost model-like. She had an elegant appearance with blonde hair, and she was about a hundred and sixty-five centimeters in height." It became clear to Zyra that the one who had taken Yaslyn was undoubtedly Wrenley. A wave of unease washed over her. Why would Wrenley want Yaslyn at a time like that? Pulling out her phone, she called Yaslyn repeatedly, but each attempt was met with silence. It was unlike Yaslyn to ignore calls. If busy, she would typically decline before messaging Zyra on WhatsApp. "No use trying," Tyler murmured with a somber tone. An awful premonition crept into Zyra's heart. "What do you mean?"

I am Ethan now! He looks like he is six feet tall. If I stand close to him, I might reach till his shoulders. Maybe with heels, I can reach till his ears. "Did you see? He smiled at me. Yesterday he called me twice to bring coffee for him." Rita says with a blush "For the past two days, we go at the same time in the elevator. We had eye contact thrice." Shelly retorts passionately. "He also smiled at me when I was passing by."

The Ravens sat at a rather long and luxurious table. The table itself felt solid and powerful, and was made with a beautiful dark-stained wood. It wholly reminded Eva of those classic boardroom tables back from her old Earth. Which made sense, considering Eris was who she was. She imagined that the pirate queen had the table custom made, and probably cost hundreds of thousands to make. Across from the Ravens was Eris along with a few of her officers. Directly to her right was a holographic projection of someone who appeared to be some kind of official. He appeared to be watching the proceedings with a keen eye, but otherwise hardly made a sound.

Making me feel like i just asked the worst question. "Well", he said his voice going back to how it usually was, the voice that would make a stranger run for the hills. "Well I'm Bryan Raven, lived in New York most of my life till now. Cause my dad thinks I can jump off our apartment, so here I am being catered by you guys", he said finally with his face going plane. "Well trust me they're way more places to kill yourself here than in New York", i said matter factly trying to lighten his mood. "And you'll also have enough reasons not to, believe me", I said practically whispering it, hoping he heard me. I hope i never give up on him, he deserves so much, he deserves to br fought for.
