It’s been two and a half years since Raven showed up on my pack lands and I couldn’t be any happier. She brought hope and love to my life which I never thought I would have. A year after her being here and of us dating I asked her to be my Luna, we were fully mated and had the ceremony a month later. I can’t believe how lucky I got. Don't get me wrong, it hasn't been easy sailing, we have come arcoss some horrible speed bumps from the hunters and pack attacks by rogues. But with Raven by my side, our pack has survived and prospered.

He spoke quietly. It seemed that, unlike Arden, he knew how to keep his anger on a leash. Yet my heart raced wildly against my chest because of what I heard. If this involved my mother and me, did that mean these people had a hidden motive? or Mr. Ravenchi?

Raven asked. I raised my hands to slap her but someone stopped me. “Don't you dare!” Dax whispered, squeezing my hands. “What the hell are you doing in my pack?” Dax asked angrily. “You are a clown! You took my wife and expected me not to come to this stupid place. It wasn't by choice,” Marcus said rudely. Dax turned to Raven. “Is he your husband?” Raven shook her head. “He is no longer my husband. He is only the father of my child,” Raven responded.

The words landed heavy, her whole world suddenly stilling for a second. She was pregnant. “Good, thank you,” she heard Alaric say to the doctor. “You may leave now.” She heard the door click shut again, Alaric speaking up the second they were alone again. “You heard him. You’re pregnant. You’re carrying my heir. The heir to the Storm pack.” “Let’s talk again during dinner about the changes that’ll be taking place now,” he continued. “For now, I need to inform my mother and make necessary preparations. I’ll see you later then.”
