Blood against blood. Raven hissed, “You’ll never unite them. They only follow because they hope you’re strong enough. But I know you’re not.” Ava gritted her teeth. “I don’t need to be perfect.” “I just need to be better than what we were made into.” —THE STANDSTILL Just as Raven raised her blade for a final blow—Selene’s spell shattered the stage. Wolves roared in panic. Smoke choked the sky. When it cleared—Raven was gone.

That is the only explanation I have” I guess maybe it isn’t really a physical power but a spell to keep things from interfering with my abilities. ‘Can we break these chains?’ I asked hopefully ‘Once I heal you, your body is weak. Also, I have no idea where we are at and I don’t want to show our hand too early. We still don’t know what you are capable of and if we see a chance or need to make a run for it, we need the element of surprise.’ Raven said. Something seems different about her. She was still the same quiet wolf but more matured?

Her sewing kit will come in handy now. Avery stood by him anxiously. “Why don’t I know such a useful spell? God my visions are almost useless. I can’t discern most of the rituals. if I see a useful spell-like healing, spell I could have stopped his bleeding right away…” he mumbled as he pranced around. Nico froze. “the book… the book! Avery! Go to raven’s room and get me a leather-bound book! It has spells!! You can do it right! Go on!”

Raphael is more interested in the beauty in his arms. He turned her in his arms so that now she is looking at him. He locked his gaze with hers. Slowly the fog around him began to disappear, showing the form of the real Raphael. The handsome Raven Prince. But his eyes are still pitch black and he still looks scary to everyone. There is still no recognition in him about who he is. But the darkness and the urge to kill and immense hatred are not so intense.

I watched her every move, ready to strike if she so much as hesitated. Raven lay motionless on the bed, her pale skin looking even paler. Her chest barely rose with each shallow breath. The sight made my chest tighten with rage and fear. “What are you doing to her?” I snapped as the witch poured a black liquid into a small bowl. “It’s the reversal,” she stammered. “It will sever the bond-breaking spell and restore her energy. But it’s delicate… it could still go wrong.” “If anything happens to her,” I said, my voice deadly calm, “you’ll wish you died quickly.”

I watch in horror as he groans in pain and grits his teeth. “ What’s happening to him? ” Kane begins to panic unlike me. The black haired woman places her hand on his chest and hisses lowly. “ It’s Ravon spell. ” The woman takes her hand away, and shoots me a side glance. I gulp, mirroring her gesture. “ What does this mean? ” Kane breathes and continues looking at Wolf. “ It’s a spell only a few witches can cast. This makes the victim believe that something which can kill them is struck in their body. ” She begins telling us about the spell when Cassius, Stefan and Elias join us.

They were glowing with a pale, arctic blue. "Channell it," I urged. "Direct it into the circle. Bind the rogues to your soul." I began the chant, the ancient words vibrating in my chest. The spirits in the trees began to howl, a sound that wasn't heard with ears but with the very marrow of the bones. The energy began to swirl around the circle, a whirlwind of grey mist and blue sparks. But the energy didn't stay in the circle. Raven let out a cry, her head snapping back. The power inside her didn't just flow; it erupted. It was like a dam breaking. The blue light flared, blindingly bright, and a wave of absolute cold exploded from her body.

We spent almost forty five minutes at the meeting it was all talk about the the Raven which is the symbolic bird of our people which will only awaken when the hybrid comes to her full power, but if she is allowed to come to her full power outside the thumb of the witches it means she will have full control over the Raven and that means being able to control the witches which is why we have to kidnap her so she comes to her full power after forcefully making her access her powers through spells. Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha. While Liliana’s hair is silvery white with eyes that are pale blue and white near the center, her aura radiates her powerful Lycan Healer abilities. “Daddy she’s here!” Liliana calls out with a look of relief flooding her like she is glad to see her sister’s ok. “Liliana, get back!” Rebecca snarls while running beside Gideon as I carry Raven outside into the snow finding Liliana’s lack of fear very amusing. “Raven, what are you doing where have you been, it’s morning?” Gideon panics taking her from my arms possessively as I rub her back trying to keep her calm.

But just before it hit, a small voice rang out across the clearing. “Leave my mama alone!” Purple light exploded from the wooden cage. The bars shattered into a thousand pieces. Wood splinters flew everywhere like tiny daggers. And standing in the middle of the destruction, her eyes glowing bright purple, was Raven. Dark magic swirled around her tiny body like a living thing. “I said,” she repeated, her voice echoing with power that should not belong to a five-year-old child, “LEAVE MY MAMA ALONE!” The purple light shot toward Marcus like a purple spear.
