Tank nods, respecting my call. “Smart,” he says. “But if he’s the traitor, he’s gotta pay.”
“He will,” I say, my voice cold. “For Hera, for the club, for everything.”
Zero’s phone buzzes, and he pulls it out, frowning. “It’s Chloe,” he says. “Says she needs to see me ASAP.”
Tank’s grin widens, and he slaps Zero’s shoulder. “Look at you, finding love in the middle of this mess,” he teases, his voice light for the first time.
