Re Zero Starting Novels & Stories

"Renew… command me again, Daddy." A slow, satisfied smile spread across his lips, a look of triumphant ownership. He had broken me. He had remade me. And I had let him. The blue panel flickered, updating with a new set of words, a new beginning, a new end. [New Cycle Initiated.] [Debt Reset: 15,000 points.] [Welcome back, boy.]

Crane’s eyes gleamed. “Because my legacy didn’t die with me. It multiplied.” He pointed to the boy. “To him.” He pointed to Elias. “To you.” And then— He pulled a remote from his coat. Elias shouted— “Don’t—” Crane pressed the button. The far wall opened. Revealing a second Elias. Eyes dead. Hands twitching. No soul. Just machinery wrapped in flesh. “Meet Version Zero,” Crane said. “The control specimen. The one with no memory. No emotion. No resistance. Pure obedience.”

“Well…hate to break it to you, but I guess they did; perfect that science, that it.” “What?” Kathy frowned. “No, that’s impossible! How…oh...” “You mean, oh no?” I offered. “Oh shit!” “Yup.” I nodded. “Zero.” “Subject Zero.”

"The Sovereign is waking up, Seraphina. The Auditor is realizing that the 'True Zero' didn't work. They’re going to try to Reallocate you. They’re going to try to move you to a sector where I can’t find you." "Let them try," I said, a sudden, sharp spark of the old Seraphina Vance flickering in my soul. I looked at the blank gold coin in my hand. "If I don't have a history, then I don't have a limit. If I'm a True Zero, then I’m the only person in this city who doesn't owe the system a thing." The Resurgence began not with a bang, but with a Default. A siren blared from the Audit Tier—a high-pitched, digital shriek that caused the workers in the street to drop to their knees, their hands ove

I could see he is anxious and so is mom. Where should I start on telling them the truth. I don’t know what to say or how to say it, I know I have to start from the beginning but before that I need to do something else. It’s now or never. I took out my phone and scroll through my gallery and found a clear picture of the triplets. I look at them and smiled, my children are my life. I don’t regret having them. After looking at the picture for a few second, I passed the phone towards mom and dad then then I bow my head down. I took a deep breathe then look at them again.

The year I started middle school, my parents solemnly handed my sister and me each a bank card. "This is your college fund. There's 100,000 dollars in each one. The password is your birthday. Don't touch it unless it's truly an emergency." I listened. I treated that card like a treasure. I never bought a single new piece of clothing. Even my worn-out canvas shoes got patched with glue and worn again. I thought that if I was just responsible enough, I'd live up to my parents' idea of "fairness." Then, after the SATs ended, I wanted to use the money on the card for a graduation trip with my classmates. Instead, the ATM screen flashed a number that burned my eyes: [Balance: $0.00]. At th

He started speaking politely. "Cut the chase and come straight to the point Ficco." Adriano stated. "Umm, Adriano I want to be your business partner again." They started their discussion. "Years ago it was you who denied to do business with me and now it's my time. Explain why should I be interested in this anymore." Both of them started their business talks that I have zero percent interest in. For the whole time that the conversation went on, Arora kept staring at Adriano, I could see the heart emojis in her eyes.

I held it like a grenade. "You wanted the perfect successor?" I asked, my voice a whisper that filled the void. "Well, here’s your 'Year Zero'!" I slammed the spark into the "Void-Gold" heart. The explosion didn't make a sound. It made a Story. A billion memories—the smell of fried plantains in the Rust-District, the sound of the Lagos rain on a tin roof, the weight of a ten-billion-dollar price tag, the feel of Dante’s hand in mine—erupted from the "Zero-Point." We didn't just stop the reset; we Overwrote it.

Jake backed off but did not quit. He loitered outside the school daily, begging for forgiveness every time he saw me. "I'm sorry. I was wrong. Please, give me another chance," he repented. I ignored him, sick of his face and words. Unable to move me, he went online and started a livestream.

It's finally Saturday. I get out of bed and go to my phone to check the time. It's 12:34, and I've got the whole weekend ahead of me. It's not that I am going somewhere, but I can finally relax, watch TV, and sleep as long as I want. I get out of bed and make my way to the bathroom. I decided to take a bath, so I started to fill the bathtub with warm water and placed a coconut bath bomb in it.
