“I truly love you.” “Ugh!” Fanny turned her gaze away and sneered, then looked back at Damian. “Do you really love me? Don’t you just love my body and my power?” “Well, maybe more accurately. I’m with you because I enjoy your beautiful body,” Damian said, gently touching Fanny’s arm from top to bottom, “and I love your power for my revenge on Stella.” Fanny smirked. “Since we think alike and we’re using each other, I won’t be mad. I prefer someone honest like you to a hypocrite.” Fanny wrapping her arms around Damian’s neck.

My muscles contract, and I start to see stars. He holds my waist with both hands, moving my body against his as he stays deep inside me. Liam closes his eyes and parts his lips, sighing my name as I squeeze him, with the anticipation of something that seems to explode inside me. I am so close to breaking free, falling into ecstasy, that I can not hold back the moan that escapes my lips. When my body shatters into a million pieces, achieving an eye-rolling explosion, Liam holds me tighter. I try to squirm and close my legs, because everything in me is sensitive. In turn, he thrusts harder into me.

I could read his mind and what I saw in it shocked me so badly, that my childhood best friend would be willing to tear me limb from limb because of a girl he had just met. “Huh, Magnus!! Is that how it is now? You're going to feed me my intestines?” I asked, quoting the exact words that I had read from his mind. He was completely shocked by my words and I could see him trying to figure out how I was able to get his thoughts so accurately. “Don't be so confused brother, I've always been more complex than you could think,” I said. I could see his frustration rising, his anger deepening deep within him. It was like a color show.

"What kind of trash are you saying? He's my nephew! I raised him, that's all—we're just close, nothing more. You—" Same excuses, same script. But who kisses their "nephew" hard enough to draw blood? Who lies half-naked in bed, wrapped around him? Who clings to him all day like a lifeline? I had a hundred comebacks, but we'd been through it too many times. I was done. I hung up. Powered off my phone. Thought that was the end. Then the pilot shouted, "We've got a chopper on our tail!" The blades thundered louder.

It was my editor. "Liam! Good morning! Or… afternoon, depending on you. Don't worry, I won't ask." His voice was a caffeine-fueled blast of energy. "Listen, the public reaction to the new arc is insane. Your numbers are through the roof. People are absolutely eating up the romance between Kaito and Ren. The fan art, the forums, the theories—it's everywhere. This manga, Liam, it just needed a little push, and now it's a phenomenon."
