"This is rock-solid proof of you embezzling from the vault to buy voodoo blood potions for Alistair on the black market," I ruthlessly tore off her final defense. "A smuggling tab of seventy thousand gold coins. Every single transaction, clear as day."

But after hitting send, nothing came back. Ezra stared at his screen. “Maybe she’s offline.” Ethan nodded. They exchanged another look—hopeful, nervous. The next morning, Olive woke up to see the unread messages blinking on her phone. She stared at the screen for a while before unlocking it. A sigh escaped her lips. She typed a short reply to both Ethan and Ezra, then paused. Before she hit send, she looked over at Raymond who was just stepping out of the bathroom, drying his hands with a towel.

-Eat, Ruth," I encouraged her. -Thank you," Ruth took a sandwich and began to eat it while laughing at some kind of cartoon. The screen was showing The Adventures of Ladybug. I liked that show. I wondered what Logan and the other officers would do, it had been maybe fifteen minutes since they came upstairs. As if reading my thoughts, the three of them come down the stairs talking something.

I yelled back as I headed towards the living room. Audrey sat on the couch and grabbed her IPad off end table. Deciding to browse for some new recipe ideas while waiting for Cass to get ready. About an hour later the door buzzer went off. "Yes?" she asked while hitting the button. "Ms. Corday's ride has arrived." the man responded. "We will be right down. Thank you." She headed down the hall and knocked on Cassidy's door "Hey Cass you ready? The ride is here."
