Mated To My Obsessive Stepbrother

Mated To My Obsessive Stepbrother

“Pathetic.” “Desperate men do stupid things. Keep your guard up.” He paused, “Also, I’m heading to your office later. Gonna install something on your laptop. Real-time visual surveillance software. The next time someone tries to breach the Black Ledger, it’ll grab their face and send it straight to me. No more guessing who the mole is.” “Perfect,” I said, drumming my fingers against the armrest. “That just leaves Wes.” “Yeah,” he muttered. “Wes.”

BEWARE!!! K_Mikaelson is a very sad person. Going around and dropping false spoilers in every comment section on my book. My book isn't completed yet. I don't know where he/she got the sad ending they keep talking about from a book that isn't even competed yet. Gang rape? Definitely all in his head

Craving Forbidden Pleasures

Craving Forbidden Pleasures

Watching him was like watching a wire pulled too tight — inevitable, waiting only for the snap. It came just past midnight. A sound outside: deliberate, heavy boots on wet soil. Not stealthy. Not a mistake. A declaration. The first Watcher froze, knife clenched, his whole body going taut. His eyes flicked to Mara, then to the door. “Stay here.” The words were gravel, dragged out of his throat. Then he moved, quick and silent, vanishing into the storm. Mara’s breath hitched. Her heart slammed against her ribs. She crawled to the window, parting the curtains with trembling fingers.

She simply watched the light fade. The Ledger was balanced. The Proxy was retired. The Dawn had finally, fully, arrived. Far below the surface of the earth, in the derelict, flooded ruins of a mountain in Geneva, a single, water-damaged server rack flickered with a faint, ghostly blue light. It wasn't a machine starting up, or a ghost in the wires. It was merely a residual pulse—a tiny, rhythmic heartbeat of code that would beat for a thousand years, ensuring that the world would never again forget to watch the watchers.

The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule

The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule

The Witness releases me and I collapse to the ground gasping while it turns its attention to my sons. “Acceptable,” it says. “I will observe your family bonds to understand the valuation of temporary existence. But I require complete access. You must allow me to watch everything, even private moments.” “Everything?” Marcus asks nervously. “Every interaction, every emotion, every choice you make in relation to your mother and each other. I will be present constantly, documenting.” My sons exchange glances and I can see them silently agreeing despite how invasive this will be. “Fine,” Adrian says. “Observe our family. Just leave Mama out of it.”

Watch Me Win, Ex-Husband

Watch Me Win, Ex-Husband

The air-conditioner in the room felt unusually high today, and Scarlett had not even the slightest idea if it was because she was tired or her body was simply sensitive to every damn thing. She raised her wrist to her gaze and her eyes scanned the watch on her wrist. Their flight back to Las Vegas was in an hour and thirty minutes and yet, she had no idea what her boss was still discussing with the investors. Her eyes still settled on Kingsley, watching as his fingers tapped on the long ceramic table lightly, quietly listening to the men's long talk. Just from a glance, Scarlett could tell whatever deal this was all about wasn't going to fall through.

Ice Claimed: The Alpha’s Obsession

“The table is fully provisioned, Master Collins. Why don't you break your fast now? We possess zero data points regarding the exact shift Tammy will clear the outer gates anyway!” “I intend to extend my vigil a fraction longer,” I murmured, my thumb sliding across the dark screen of my terminal. “His wolf rarely powers down his communication device when he is active in the territory.” “Perhaps his energy cells completely drained the moment his transport departed from his own outpost.” “The modern rinks and trade lanes are flooded with kinetic charging stations, Miss Yachina. A wolf can restore power to their device at any coordinate across the kingdom,” I noted, my anxiety spiking again. “I

If someone entered the monitoring area without authorization and the system could not verify the person's identity, it would immediately mark him with a red dot and trigger the warning alarm. Julien stared at the white figure on the screen and said to Royce with some hint of disappointment, "Your grandpa sent us here to keep watch, but I can't shake the feeling that something about this doesn't feel quite right." "Why do you say that?" asked Royce curiously. "What doesn't feel right?"

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though

this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin

Choosing her heart

Choosing her heart

Each a different man in their position. Grabbing a cold beer from the cooler, I lean back, propping my heeled feet up, and getting comfortable. I'm eady for an incredible show. One that should be starting any moment. I squint at the screen, looking at square sixteen. I saw a red flash before the camera goes blank. A few moments later, another red flash, and another camera goes offline. My men are wearing earpieces, but I’ve found that werewolf hearing is better than human and they would certainly hear if I chimed in, so I remain silent, gritting my teeth as I stare at the monitor.

Watch Me; SHINE

he said, his tone laced with disdain. I sneered, meeting his gaze. “You think this changes anything? You’re playing a dangerous game, Grey.” He stepped closer, his face inches from mine. “This isn’t a game, Frank. This is justice.” Behind him, a screen flickered to life, showing live footage of Gabby’s son. My stomach twisted. Grey noticed my reaction and smirked. “Oh, yes. We’ve been watching. Did you really think we wouldn’t find him?” “You’re making a mistake,” I growled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ah, 'Watchmen'—Alan Moore's masterpiece is one of those comics that feels like it reshaped the medium forever. I totally get the urge to dive into it, especially if you're new to graphic novels and want to see what all the hype's about. Unfortunately, finding it legally for free is tricky since it’s still under copyright. Your best bet is checking if your local library offers digital rentals through apps like Hoopla or Libby—many do, and it’s a legit way to read without dropping cash. Some libraries even have physical copies if you prefer the tactile experience of flipping through those gorgeously bleak pages.

If you’re open to spending a little, keep an eye out for sales on Comixology or Amazon; the digital version sometimes goes on deep discount. And hey, if you end up loving it, the absolute best way to experience 'Watchmen' is the original hardcover—the colors pop, and the supplemental material (like those fake newspaper clippings) hits differently in print. It’s worth the investment for how often you’ll probably revisit it. Plus, supporting the creators matters, y’know?
