Novel & Cerita Reading Hypnosis

Edward said. “There is no such thing as talking skeletons,” I repeated. Edward had me continue repeating the mantra while he turned on a metronome. The slow ticking of the metronome lulled me into a somewhat dazed state. Next, he described images to me; peaceful scenery, like the ocean at sunset, or a field of flowers, to help me relax. I started to breathe deeply and felt my heart rate slow down, and soon I was completely susceptible to Edward’s hypnosis…

When she lifted her head again, her eyes were rimmed with red. "Brendan, answer me one question. During the time we've been together, have you ever thought about Emily Collins?" Brendan gently shook his head, further deepening Deirdre's heartache. "And what about when you went after her?" Deirdre added. Brendan replied helplessly, "You occupied my mind completely, but—" Deirdre silenced his lips. "That's enough." Sterling had once said that once a person underwent hypnosis, the person must not be forcibly awakened. Otherwise, one would become a complete lunatic.

“But your work—” “My work is dedicated to helping people who want to remember. Who are ready to face it and work through it,” she said. “Not forcing trauma to the forefront before they are ready.” She looked at me. “You endangered your life with this. You understand that. I’m not going to lecture you, but I’m going to tell you that hypnosis, especially self-hypnosis, is a mixed bag of tricks. Like dream analysis.” I drew back, a bit crestfallen. “Really?”

Lying flat on the bed, limbs stretched out, he closed his eyes. Rose slipped into her professional tone, her voice gentle and rhythmic as she began the hypnosis guidance. Calvin’s breathing gradually slowed and deepened. The tension in his body began to ease as he drifted closer to sleep. Rose continued her soft, steady narration, the hypnotic words falling from her lips like a lullaby. Under the soft glow of a reading lamp, her handwritten notebook lay open beside her. She hesitated for a long moment, then finally flipped open the title page.

Nathaniel asked where was Zion at before walking over. "Noah grabbed Nathaniel's arm and said with a deep voice, ""Well, I'm hypnotizing him so it is best if you don't make any noise to avoid accidents. You also know that the best psychological therapy for mental injuries after shooting is hypnosis. This is a crucial period and today's the last day, so you shouldn't...""" I know. Nathaniel forced himself to calm down. Nathaniel was looking at Zion from the window. He saw Zion lying on the bed with his eyes closed and it was obvious that he had entered a hypnotic state. Barney was by his side while holding his hand.

' Melanie subconsciously thought of this word. She had been studying Professor Turner's notes on hypnosis lately. She knew some hypnosis techniques employed external equipment to temporarily bring someone into the realm of hypnosis. There, deeper hypnosis would be carried out. It was very effective. She cautioned herself not to listen to the voice, but it kept repeating the same words by her ear. It asked her to sleep and rest… Her eyelids felt very heavy… She could not hold on any longer. "You're walking by the beach. The tide is rising… Your feet are bare. The water is cold. You have a lot of thoughts in your mind…" The voice continued.

After collecting his emotions, he came back and met the doctor, "tell me, doctor, what has happened to my wife and why is she violent only to me?" After going through her test results, the doctor said, "I'm sorry Mr. Flores but your wife seems to be suffering from a rare type of hypnosis. It is a horrible practice that is banned in medicine but someone seems to have hypnotized her. This person is now the one who controls her mind. Since she is acting violently each time she sees you, it means that this person has asked her to treat you so. She is fully under his or her control and will do whatever this person wants.

“Alternatives? What do you mean?” Dr. Jha tapped her pen on the folder before looking at me. “I was digging around last month in some new medical journals. I’ve known for years there has been voodoo and dismissal against hypnotherapy. However, to be able to drop oneself into a subconscious state without being asleep may unlock certain memories, especially when your subconscious is already trying to push them forward.” I grimaced. “Hypnotherapy? Really? Like swinging the watch in front of your face and you fall asleep kind? That’s ridiculous.”

When she has already suffered enough, he would still have to bring her back home. However, it would also be very troublesome to bring her back. How could he possibly make her shut up without talking any nonsense at all? Through hypnosis? That would not be reliable at all! After all, the side effect of hypnosis was that once the person started to follow his psychological cues, that person would lose their own consciousness momentarily.

Yeah, I still roll my eyes at the notion too. “Delilah tells me things have been...tumultuous lately,” she takes my hands and massages my fingers. Her hands are nice and warm. The feeling is so calming. “Yeah. It really has been,” I nod, feeling a little sleepy. “Well, let’s do things a little differently today. Since there are stretches of time you are having trouble accounting for, let’s do a bit of hypnosis. See if we can find it,” her voice sounds soft and seems to melt into my mind.
