My breath slowed as I opened it.The pages were fragile, the ink faded but still legible.Illustrations showed figures surrounded by living darkness, not casting shadows but commanding them as extensions of themselves.

She dumbly nodded. "This is the sitting room." He pointed out as they pushed the closest door to them. "Whenever the weather is dull, I read in here." The moon princess took a few hesitant steps around the couch, nearing the closest bookshelf. Her betrothed motioned her towards the huge collection of books. There, the books appeared faded and worn, as though read multiple times over. "I keep my favourite dramas around here," Ajaxson smiled. "They are mostly tragedy and horror. I don't think that interests you?"

She was slowly becoming agitated as Harry kept on staring at her and waiting for a reply. "That was a long time ago, Harry, how would you expect me to remember?" Harry raised an eyebrow, staring at her suspiciously. If there was one thing he was certain about, his little girl would never ever forget her favorite book. She talked about it a lot and it seems she read the book more than fifty times. Harry remembewred the fact that she used to explain the book to him, hook line and synced. "Well, it's Throne of glass..." He replied , still looking her up suspiciously.

“Then I am here to help you anytime you need help. You can always count on me mio amore (my love).” Lucia watched her with dark, unreadable eyes. That was exactly what she wanted.. ___ The gates slid open quietly as Arabelle rode back into the estate. She expected darkness. Silence. Maybe the usual cold elegance of stone and steel. It wasn't like that, instead, everywhere lightened. Soft golden lights lined the drive, wrapped around columns and railings. The mansion glowed against the evening sky, warm and alive.
