Do you understand him?” I shift to get more comfortable and to be able to see Danny with both eyes. He is a prankster and does not discriminate. The wild look in his eyes tells me he is up to something and I probably won’t enjoy being a part of it.

Logan carefully put me down, then charged at Niles and they started fighting fiercely. My back hurt so much that I gasped for air. But just then, a bold idea flashed through my mind. Looking at Sophie acting crazy, I knew we couldn't keep the rebirth secret any longer. But more than the rebirth, I needed to create a role for myself. One that could guide Logan to the path I wanted. Logan and Niles were natural enemies. They fought many times. No one had won yet. While Logan was distracted, Niles grabbed Sophie and ran.

I kiss her, because there is nothing on earth that can stop me. "Don't cry, Danny girl," I whisper against her lips, and I kiss her again. A huge weight I've been carrying with me since my mom died lifts. Danny is the girl who would have helped my mom. Danny's the girl who is healing me.

"Okay then, I'm waiting...hurry up," Danny headed into the wash room after he was sure his mother had left. The moment he stepped into the tub and his skin came in contact with the hot water he had served for his bath, he let out a sharp groan of pain. He soaked himself into the tub and shut his eyes letting the water wash him thoroughly and penetrate into his pores. It was a long shower and for fifteen minutes Danny remained in the tub, his fully opened pores was totally healed and his bones felt strong again. He then lifted himself out of the tub satisfied with his new self. He then had his body scrubbed with clean sponge and soap after which he walked out of the wash room with a towel tie

“And you don't like surprises. I can't believe I forgot that bit about you.” “I love surprises!” She blurted out. “Just that was-” Her voice dropped and she didn't finish. DJ smiled. The look in his eyes deepened. “You returned so differently after your accident. Reborn.” “This is the second time you've said that.” He smiled again. “I hope it doesn't irk you.” She shook her head. It didn't. He was right. She was reborn. “I'll drop you back at the office.” He smoothly digressed.

Damien was reborn a human, and a good kid, the good guy that I always knew he was, and I enjoyed watching him grow up, watching him slowly become the man that I fell in love with. He still had the black hair and sky blue eyes that mesmerized me. They named him Daniel, and I would visit him kind of like a guardian angel of sorts. The spot that I had bitten him that day in my room was now a birthmark on his palm, one that many people in his life speculated about, some even teasing him for its uncommon shape. I couldn't help my smile when I first noticed it - it wasn't a coincidence, such an important mark on his body followed his soul to his human rebirth.

"Drop it!" I stepped out of the shadows, roaring at him. Tony jumped, almost dropping his phone. Then he saw it was me and flashed a mouth full of yellow teeth: "Well, look what the cat dragged in. Back from the dead? Perfect timing. That psycho butcher is still offering a price for your head.Gonna get a good price this time." He thought I was still that little girl he used to beat and yell at, the one who’d just cry in the corner.

"Sheldon! Oh my God! What are you doing to him?" His black eye, the bloody nose and the busted lip—I took it all in with horror. New bruises were forming on his wrists. "Come, baby doll. Look what we have here for you." Danny said lazily, resting an arm over his bent knee. As far as I knew, he was second-in-command to Jason. "What do you mean for me?" I looked up with confusion. "We took your revenge, duh. You're welcome," Anton chimed in from beside Danny. He had blue hair and more piercings than I could count.
