The Wild Virgin (HER POV)
About reminding myself who I was before everything unraveled.
I slid into black denim shorts that fit like they’d been designed with my body in mind, hugging my hips and thighs just tight enough to feel provocative without trying too hard. The red halter top followed, the fabric skimming my skin and baring my shoulders, my collarbones, a teasing stretch of my back. It tied at my neck, forcing my posture tall, confident, dangerous.
Knee-high heeled boots clicked softly against the floor as I moved, adding height, power, attitude. The kind of shoes that said I wasn’t here to be ignored.
